This is a video for Bonnie Stead. Bonnie, Lulu had a fantastic result on Sunday night at the Devon Arena Eventing Showcase, mate. She blitzed the field. What you're watching here is the final round, the jump off round and she couldn't have gone better. Bonnie, she was one of the first horses to go and jump the first round in great style and great fashion and she ended up being one of the fastest horses or the fastest horse in the first round. So we were last to go in front of a massive crowd and I decided to squeeze her with the spurs and give her a cluck and she was absolutely brilliant. She couldn't have jumped better, mate. So anyway, it's a bit of fun. I think There was about 20 horses in the field. It was a very, very exciting, exciting even. Now we're heading towards Bromont three day event. I've got my tail up after this victory, Bonnie. So yeah, we're off to Bromont next week. We're doing the four star long up there in, up in Montreal. She's had good success up there, Bon. She won the three star long there two years ago. I think we're heading back up there to have a crack at the four star. It's one of the toughest four stars in the. Waving at my kids there. You would have been proud. Leo took his shirt off in the crowd. Couldn't help, couldn't handle the emotions. A bit like when he was at the hockey, the NHL hockey, they get a goal, they rip the shirts off. And then Knox, Knox came to the presentation with me, got to meet the all the officiates at Devon. Then we went to the press conference and the boys joined me and said a few words as well. So this video is actually the helmet cam. So this is the girls that do. All my social media have got me wearing a helmet on my camera so you can sort of get a bit of a bird's eye view of the course here. One thing about her, she's a little bit spooky, but I feel like the spookiness actually makes her quite careful, especially at these show jumps. Like you have to ride her pretty fast at the show jumps to be competitive. And I've got so much belief in the way she jumps. I don't really worry about hitting the jumps down. And I have to say she was pretty bold and brave over all the cross country jumps. We did this contest last year, don't know if you remember, but we had a run out or a spook or one of the skinnies. And this year she jumped the narrow fence is just perfect. Anyway, mate, looking forward to seeing you. I'm. I think I'm coming down there in three weeks time. We're bringing a couple of horses. Not Lulu, unfortunately. She'll. She'll probably be on a vacation after she does Bromont, but bringing a couple of horses down to do the mandatory outing at. At Stable View, which hopefully I get picked for the Olympics, but not quite sure yet. They announce the team next week, but I think I've got a good chance. Anyway, we'll be coming down there in the sweltering heat of Aiken. Looking forward to catching up with you, mate. Anyway, we're all thinking of your lots, Bon, and couldn't be happier with Ms. Lulu. She's come a long way. Just a fantastic event. Fantastic win, mate. Got my tail up. Anyway, thanks for all the support, Bon, and I'll catch up soon.
