Brad Hart contrasts old and new ways of handling text messages. The old way means guessing what people want and manually coordinating. The new way uses a system to read messages, plan meetups, send notes, and handle it automatically.
And I want you to think in terms of old way versus new way. The old way is I got to wait for the text. I got to make sure that I get it. I got to make sure my phone's open. I got to make sure I have notifications on. I got to make sure that I can block and tackle. There's nothing else weird going on in my text. Everybody's gotten a dagger in their inbox before and making sure that I'm not ruining my perfectly good day off with my new ship. So what this allows me to do is just take all of the guesswork out, tell me what she said, make a plan to meet up, Go have it happen, send her a note, and we're off to the races.
