A sermon on faith that argues belief shapes reality more than miracles do. The speaker uses Mark 9:23 and other verses to define faith as confident assurance of God's promises before you see them, not passive hope. Rehearse God's word instead of fear, and today's faith becomes tomorrow's reality.

There are moments in life when people ask Jesus, can you do this for me? But the real question Jesus often turns back to us is, do you believe? Because faith is not hoping something might happen. Faith is seeing what God said before it shows up in your hands. The Word says in Mark 9:23, Jesus said to him, if you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. He didn't say some things. He said all things. And in Matthew 19:26, with man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. So the limitation is never God's power. The limitation is often what we can see in our heart and hold on to in faith. Faith is described in Hebrews 11:1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. That means faith is not waiting until you see it to believe it. Faith is believing it so strongly that you begin to walk like it's already coming. And when people say, I don't see how this can change, God reminds us in Luke 1:37, for nothing will be impossible with God. So when Jesus says, can you believe? He's not asking for perfection. He's asking for trust. Even a mustard seed of faith can move mountains. And here's the shift: what you consistently see in your mind, you begin to expect in your life. So instead of rehearsing fear, rehearse what God said, because Ephesians 3:20 says, now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, So if you can conceive that God can heal it, if you can conceive that God can restore it, if you can conceive that God can open a door no one else can open, then faith says don't stop at seeing it. Start believing, because with God, what you can see in faith today becomes your reality tomorrow.
