In this brief video, the presenter introduces TikTok's experimental AI chatbot named Taco. Taco answers user questions by serving relevant TikTok videos—for example, providing a sourdough bread recipe through video recommendations. The feature is currently limited to a trial in the Philippines. The presenter ends by asking viewers whether they would like to have Taco in their app.
Are you seeing this little icon on your TikTok? If so, congrats, you've got the TikTok AI chatbot. It's called Taco. The way it works is you ask it a question and it serves up videos with the answer. For example, you want a great sourdough bread recipe? You can type in a request asking for recommendations and voilà, there's videos with that recipe. Now if you don't have it, don't worry. For now, it's part of a limited experiment only available in the Philippines. But I'm curious to hear, would you want Taco?
