Gas hit #1 on the App Store three months after launch and is already used by over a third of American teenagers. The app lets you vote in anonymous polls that send compliments to friends. It's profitable and positive, unlike most social platforms built on controversy.
Gas has been number 1 in the App Store for over a month now. The anonymous social app has been used by over a third of all American teenagers, and it just launched 3 months ago. Also, it's profitable. But why is it so popular? You sign up, then share location and contacts, then you vote in polls to give friends anonymous compliments. What's interesting is other social apps have been plagued by negativity. This is because controversy drives such high engagement. So is there room for a social app promoting positivity? Certainly seems that way. What do you think? Are you using Gas App?
