Here's the answer to one of the most common questions I get from creators: should I get a manager? The cons are they take a percentage of your brand deal and they build the relationship with the client. However, the pros are a manager often sees a lot more deals, so they understand the going rates, they can take the time to vet deals on your behalf, negotiate contracts, and play good cop bad cop if something goes wrong. You need to ask yourself: where's your time and expertise best spent? Can someone else negotiate and handle contracts better than you?
