If you can create a great Twitter thread, you can capture the world's attention. So how do you do it?
The technical reason behind threads is because Twitter obviously doesn't want you to leave the platform. So tweets with article links or links to YouTube, links off the platform, probably are getting throttled. So what is a thread then? It's a way to bring a long-form essay onto Twitter, right? I spend as much time on a 15-tweet thread as I would on a 1,000-word article. But because of the constraints of each tweet is 280 characters, you actually spend a lot of time just like re-editing each tweet to fit everything in, right? And I, I am very conscious about how many tweets a thread should be. Like, I don't wanna waste people's time.
