In this brief interview, Speaker A asks Nathan Barry, founder of ConvertKit, about a growth hack that many creators overlook. Nathan describes a three‑step "flywheel" for podcasts: (1) record an interview, then extract the best nuggets and repurpose them into articles, blog posts, and other content; (2) ask the guest to share that repurposed content with their own audience, which brings new followers to the host; and (3) request the guest’s recommendations for future interviewees, turning the guest’s network into a pipeline for new podcast guests. This loop continuously amplifies reach and audience growth with minimal extra effort.

What's the growth hack most creators neglect? I asked my buddy Nathan Barry, the founder of ConvertKit. Here's what he had to say.
Let's say that I'm starting a podcast. I can have a flywheel around interviewing a guest. I can look at the best nuggets of that podcast and use it to write an article, blog post, you know, other types of content that's going to go out around that. The next part of the flywheel would be asking that guest to share the content. Here's part of the interview. Why don't you share it with your audience? That gets me more followers. And then the final step could be that I'm asking them, who else should I have on my podcast? Who else should I interview? And they're like, oh, you should talk to my friend Brendan. Right. And then it goes from there.
