In this short video, the speaker introduces "dark social" as the next massive trend in social media, describing it as content shared through private channels such as SMS, Discord, and messenger apps. They emphasize that dark social is growing and that brands and influencers are increasingly turning to these private channels because major platforms are reducing organic reach. The speaker engages the audience with a rhetorical question about following influencers on these platforms.
