Hey my friends, it's Brendon Burchard and welcome to a special episode of the Brendon show where we jump into some of the best of my motivational quotes. Hey my friends, it's Brendan and welcome to your weekly roundup of my 60 second motivational quote that I post out on Instagram and other social media. We thought we'd compile them here for you to give you some motivational fire for your week. So let's go. When you have nothing to aim at, you have no reason to organize and master yourself. No goals, no growth, no clarity, no change. Let ambition swell in your heart once more. Set your own course. Dream bigger. Look to a greater future. Listen, it's so easy to get bogged down in the moment, in this minute, in this post, in social media, in the swiping and clearing and cleaning up emails and just dealing with the everyday nature of our modern life. And yet sometimes that gets dreadfully boring and unfulfilling. And what will rejuvenate us, what will bring us back to life is that distant horizon, that greater ambition, that thing that will galvanize us to say, hey, you know what? Organize your life again. Get yourself together. You got something you need to get moving towards, to march towards, to achieve, to build, to create. You got to dream again, my friends, don't lowball yourself. If you've done the work and put in the miles and service with excellence, you're worth more than you probably believe. Look, I know it's hard to get down on yourself and be frustrated with your progress. I know some days you work at it, you're doing the diligence, you're doing the things. And yet it doesn't feel like you're breaking through or momentum is catching. But listen, it is. If you're putting in the work, if you're putting in the miles, if you're really serving other people with excellence, meaning you are absolutely trying to do your best. And that's what we have to talk about here. Hey, if you're low balling yourself, if you don't feel your self worth is high enough, then that means some type of internal gauge is saying, I'm actually not playing out, I'm not playing in full, I'm not giving my best, I'm not showing up my best. So start there. But if you're already giving as much as you can, you're more valuable than you think. A lot of you are so terrified to be judged, but you're going to be judged. People will doubt you, they'll Think your ideas are crazy and that you don't have the capabilities to implement them. That should not surprise you after high school, right? You should totally anticipate that. There's a lot of judgment out there. You should absolutely know that that is always going to happen. But here's the deal. When the world questions your abilities, respond with your actions. Don't justify, demonstrate. Don't stop and pause and try to explain yourself. And hopefully get people to believe in you. No work. Take the next step, move forward. You know what gets believers momentum and success to make a big difference in your life? You don't need, like dozens of new friends. You need one more positive person who brings out the best in you. And I think that's so key because so many people now report feeling lonely. They report feeling alone. They feel like they're not supported by their family or their friends or the people around them. And then they hear this thing, you know, go get this positive peer group. You know, go join a massive, you know, momentous, you know, community of all these amazing people worldwide doing some amazing mission. And it's like, kind of intimidating. And what really most people need is another new pal, another new friend, somebody to hang out with, to talk things through with, to have fun with, to enjoy life with. And I mean, you can either be intimidated, think you have to join a huge group, or just find one positive person moving in the right direction and hang out more. Sometimes to grab your destiny in the future, you gotta let go of some doubtful friends today. It's a hard reality. Of course, we don't want to leave everybody who doubts us or doesn't believe us or doesn't cheer us on, because nobody else's permission or belief is required for our own progress or our own momentum in life. We can certainly do it on our own. But sometimes, if you had friends around and you have got that momentum or you've got that deep belief or that deep passion, or you sense it's part of your purpose and they're not willing to be positive influences or to give you constructive feedback or to send you a resource or to open a door or at least be a positive person on the sidelines cheering you on, then it's time to minimize your exposure, end that relationship, or just simply, you know, start building the community that you do need, the people who will cheer you on, the people who will have your back. You can always build a new peer group and achieve more. You have to realize you get that choice when things are falling apart. Stay true to the best of who you are or it will just take longer for things to fall back into place, my friend. You know, often when things are falling apart, we start compromising and our integrity, we're less honest, we feel backed up against a wall, so we start creating fibs. Or we tell blatant lies to protect ourselves or we compromise on our values and do something that wasn't right for us. And all the while we know it's not right for us, but we think, well, just for now, I'll compromise. Just for now I won't be who I really am just to get through this time. But the issue is when you're not being who you really are and the best of who you are, you don't attract the best of the world. And over a period of time, that compromise leads to a lot of pain and it takes longer for things to fall back into place. So stay true, my friend.
