Foreign. Hey, my friends, it's Brendon Burchard. And welcome to a special episode of the Brendon show where we jump into some of the best of my motivational quotes. Hey, y', all, y' all been asking for this for a long time and we finally put it together for you. Every single day, I do a new 60 second audio, sort of my best quotes or of coaching that we put on Instagram. And I have just gotten such an outpouring of love for these. As you can see, each of them tends to get, you know, tens and tens of thousands or tens of tens of tens of thousands of views. So much love for these. And basically what I've done is I. If you haven't seen it, please follow me on Instagram. Brendon Burchard. And what I like to do is post an actual quote of mine that I've written from one of my six books or, you know, the thousands of blogs and articles that I've done. And what I like to do is just grab a little bit of a quote, maybe it's two to three sentences. And so I read the quote on Instagram and then I just go off on that quote for like 60 seconds. So literally just one minute of fire as much as I can pretty much every single day on Instagram that I created originally. And people just wanted like a roundup of those. So finally somebody actually DM me on Instagram and said, man, you should do a mashup of all these on your podcast. These are, like, frigging inspiring. They're insightful, they're motivational because they're some of the best of what I've written. And I think you'll really enjoy these. It's kind of a funny format because each of them was only 62nd. And we're stringing together a bunch of them from this week for you right here in what we're gonna call the motivational quotes episodes. I hope you'll really enjoy that. So without further ado, enjoy these 60 seconds of motivation for your day, my friend. If you really like these, make sure you're following me on Instagram. And also just do me a simple favor that I know you guys are liking these. Take a screenshot of wherever you're listening to this, post it up on your socials and use the Brendon show. That way I can see who's really engaging with these motivational quote sessions. And we'll be doing some giveaways this week and over the next couple weeks, so make sure you use a hashtag the Brendon show when you post about these motivational quotes, sessions with that. Let's go. Hey, guys, you got to step back and ask, what's it all for? You're working ridiculously hard, so those hours better count. And if it's not meaningful, then just rethink it, because you can start anything. So no matter how small you start, you better start something that matters, because life is short. Remember, guys, real reverence and gratitude in life shows up in how you use your time. You know, people say, I'm so grateful, Brendan. I'm so thrilled with life. Why? Because you filled out your gratitude journal? Or because you were cautious, thoughtful, intentional conscious about how you use your days? Because this life will end. Every hour will add up to that moment where you look back and you say, either I'm happy with my life or I'm not. And the blessings that we all have is this day. We get to choose. What are we going to focus on? What are we going to work towards? Who are we going to show up as? How do we want to serve? What will we leave life better as? What will we give? Those are the questions we must be more intent upon than just throwing away our hours. Oh, I wish I could be great, they say, Brendan. And I say, listen, greatness belongs to those who have mastered the ability to focus relentlessly on their ambitions and act decisively toward them. This requires you to say, what are my ambitions? Who do I want to be? How do I want to treat other people? Who do I want to become? What service do I want to give to the world? Getting clear on those ambitions and allowing yourself to dream bigger ambitions to know that you can reach them if you will, then focus relentlessly on them. The issue is so many people see this thing or that thing, they get distracted over here, and they don't really have ambitions. They have thoughts. A real ambition is an idea, a dream, a destiny, a passion that you connect to and you put your full heart into and then your mind into with your focus. And every single day you say, what could I do today to decisively move forward? Let's go. Oh, but I have so many things in front of me that block me from my dreams. I have so many obstacles you don't understand. Hey, listen, we all got barriers in front of us, but most obstacles are just tests to see if we really want it. That person who keeps demeaning you, just a test. That thing you don't think you can do, Just a test. That failure ahead that is imminent. Just a test. The challenges, the Obstacles of our lives are put there for a reason. Because we are supposed to get better. We're supposed to figure out ways to go around above, through under, whatever it takes to absolutely make our dreams come true. And it ain't easy. There's gonna be a lot of challenges and boulders in front of you that you never anticipated. Some of those boulders will look like mountaintops, but one day you're gonna choose. I'm gonna scale that thing. I'm back away. Most obstacles are just a test. Yeah. People think I got it all figured out because I'm the high performance habits guy, right? You're the high performer. But I still struggle with a lot of things. The things that really bother me that I struggle with is like, just like to strive joyfully. You know, I'm always striving for bigger, better things. And so often I got my head down and I'm super intense. I'm just going at it. And sometimes when you're striving really hard, you can be disappointed or discouraged. So I'm trying to strive joyfully. I also struggle to face difficulty gracefully because sometimes when difficulty comes up, I get angry, I get frustrated. I feel like, you know, it shouldn't be happening and I don't accept what's happening, you know, sometimes as faithfully or gracefully as I could. And also to serve without complaint. You know, the number of hours, the number of projects, the number of things we do to maintain our community and provide our value to the world and run our teams and brands and businesses. It's intense. But if you have this opportunity to serve, you don't complain about the effort involved. The goal is to become a vibrant, healthy, fulfilled, mission driven and. And fully engaged human because that's the kind of person who loves well, that's the kind of person who serves well. And that's the challenge is we take our eyes off the goal, we get caught up into the task, we listen to what other people say, we let them throw off our A game, and we forget what we're trying to become and grow into. And with that lack of intention each day, we just kind of adapt. We kind of fall in line. We kind of conform. We become what other people want, want us to be or demand of us. They steal our time, they steal our energy, they steal our ability to become ourselves. And it's not their fault. They're just giving cues. But you're reacting. And sometimes you're reacting into their life and into their needs at the cost of your own mission, at the cost of your own intention. So Be intentional. What's your goal? I feel like if we can come vibrant and healthy, fulfilled, mission driven and fully engaged, we'll live a better life. Yes, I know you're tired. Yes, I know you've given your heart and I know that you're pushing and I know you're busy and your plate is full and it seems so overwhelming. And some days you just want to, like, crash on the couch and quit. But if that dream is on the horizon, if that destiny is calling, if in your heart you feel has been sown a mission from on high, Remember sometimes. Yeah, rest, but don't quit. Yes, recharge, but don't quit. Remember, even when it's challenging or frustrating, one more heavy step toward our dreams often awakens the desire to follow it with another. It's just that one extra step and your brain goes, okay, now pull the right foot forward and then the left foot forward and then, and then all of a sudden it's like you're walking at a faster clip. You're moving. You're running, baby. You're getting momentum. Momentum towards what you want. Okay, my friends, I hope you enjoyed this motivational session here on the Brendon show.
