Hey, my friends, it's Brendon Burchard. And welcome to a special episode of the Brendon show where we jump into some of the best of my motivational quotes. Hey, y', all, y' all been asking for this for a long time and we finally put it together for you. Every single day, I do a new 60 second audio, sort of my best quotes or of coaching that we put on Instagram. And I have just gotten such an outpouring of love for these. As you can see, each of them tends to get, you know, tens and tens of thousands or tens of tens of tens of thousands of views. So much love for these. And basically what I've done is I. If you haven't seen it, please follow me on Instagram. Brendon Burchard. And what I like to do is post an actual quote of mine that I've written from one of my six books or, you know, the thousands of blogs and articles that I've done. And what I like to do is just grab a little bit of a quote, maybe it's two to three sentences. And so I read the quote on Instagram and then I just go off on that quote for like 60 seconds. So literally just one minute of fire as much as I can pretty much every single day on Instagram that I created originally. And people just wanted like a roundup of those. So finally somebody actually DM me on Instagram and said, man, you should do a mashup of all these on your podcast. These are, like, frigging inspiring. They're insightful, they're motivational because they're some of the best of what I've written. And I think you'll really enjoy these. It's kind of a funny format because each of them was only 62nd. And we're stringing together a bunch of them from this week for you right here in what we're gonna call the motivational quotes episodes. I hope you'll really enjoy that. So without further ado, enjoy these 60 seconds of motivation for your day, my friend. If you really like these, make sure you're following me on Instagram. And also just do me a simple favor that I know you guys are liking these. Take a screenshot of wherever you're listening to this, post it up on your socials and use the Brendon show. That way I can see who's really engaging with these motivational quote sessions. And we'll be doing some giveaways this week and over the next couple weeks, so make sure you use a hashtag the Brendon show. When you post about these motivational quotes, sessions with that, let's go. But Brendan, they don't believe in me, you know, they don't support me, they make fun of me, they put me down, they hurt my feelings, they point and tease and they just, no matter what I do, they won't get behind me. And I ask for the help and they don't help. And I ask for this and they just won't seem to permit me to win. And I say, hey, write this down, young man. Their permission is not required for your progress. Their support is not required for your progress. Their cheering you on is not required for your progress.
Their belief in you, your idea, your goals, your dreams, your future, that is.
Not required for your progress. The difference between successful people and unsuccessful people often turns out to be the unsuccessful people stop when they are challenged or not. Supported and successful people. Keep marching on, my friend.
Keep marching on. In a world tearing at you to be the same as everyone else, freedom becomes courage to be oneself. A commitment to creative expression and pursuit of one's own dreams. I wrote about this in the motivation manifesto because I really believe that personal freedom, that idea that we can be who we really want to be and pursue the things that are deeply meaningful and exciting to us, should be the hallmark of what we are after each week. So as you begin this week, what are you after? How are you showing up? Are you chasing things that are really important to you? Are you marching under the banner of someone else's journey, someone else's flag, someone else's own dreams? Are you somebody who is showing up as you, bringing your full creativity and awareness and mindfulness to what you are doing? Because in giving that and in serving that mission that's important to you, you become fully alive.
Never fear leaving a toxic environment. Be true and caring to yourself. Trust. There is peace and positivity out there. You know, one of the great mistakes many people make, and I've done it too, is hang around in a toxic environment for too long to allow people to demean you, speak down to you, to have people in your life who don't even see you or hear you. And sometimes they don't even understand your struggle. And they certainly don't cheer you on. So what do you have to do? Well, if it's toxic, you gotta go. If it's toxic and abusive and horrible and awful, you gotta go. You gotta get some support and you gotta leave that situation because the world is full of good people. You have to remember that just because one person or a group of people are putting you down doesn't mean that there aren't other people who won't cheer you on. So go build the community that you need. Go find those people because they're there and the universe wants to see you happy. And other people, they're there, they'll chew you on.
Let's just spend time working on you. Let's spend time working on your dream. Because I know so many of our students, you guys are so busy and you have so much to give and you have so much to take care of and you have so many responsibilities. A lot of times you don't spend any time on you. And by not spending time on yourself or your dreams, what ends up happening is your dream becomes a side project, actually becomes a side of a side of a side of a side project. You know what I mean? And you're not progressing at the speed that you are capable of in your life sometimes because the choices you're making, sometimes of the obligations you take on.
You knew you shouldn't take it at all.
Let's just spend time working on you. Let's spend time working on your dream.
Listen up. You are responsible for your reality.
So decide what you want of the world and go make it happen.
No clarity, no change, no goals, no growth, my friend.
I love this last line.
No clarity, no change, no goals, no growth.
Because so many people are so frustrated with their life and they're upset. So they're browsing, they're looking around, they're caught in distraction all the time. And it's like, listen.
Instead of browsing, spend time thinking. Spend time in strategic, creative, intelligent thought for what next week, next month, next year should hold in your life. No goals, no growth. So set those goals. Set that one year, three year, five year, ten year goals and work backwards into your workflow of this week. You're responsible for what you are doing each week.
So get yourself together, get on it.
No clarity, no change.
It's your time, my friend.
You must get more emotionally committed to what you are doing and reach that point where success is not just an occasional preference, but a soul deep necessity. It has to be a must. You know, in the background you probably hear some waves lapping up on the shore. Here, as I sit in front of a white sandy beach, I describe the.
Scene to you because, you know, for.
Almost two decades of my life, I.
Wanted to live at the beach. And I thought about it someday, and someday I'll do it and someday I'll do it and then I said, you know what?
No, this next year it is necessary for me to do and I made it happen.
I know that sounds so ridiculous as.
A metaphor, but the truth is many of us have ideas or dreams or hopes or wants, but we never said, you know what, this year it's necessary. I'm going to make it. We make it necessary as part of our identity. We make it necessary as part of our goals.
Each day.
We make it necessary as how we review our week and our money month. And it is our plan. It is in our heart and our soul. We are going to make that happen.
That's necessity.
And you need more of that to make every day of your dreams come true.
