This is a YouTube video titled "The Importance Of Conscious Self-Talk" created on September 27, 2023, discussing the significance of self-talk in preparing for challenging situations and managing oneself effectively.
First step self talk. I don't want you to do anything hard ever in your life again without conscious self talk. I don't want you to run a race. I don't want you to have that hard conversation with your partner or your spouse or the kid or the people at work. I don't want you to wander in the all hands meeting on Zoom and just start rambling to people.
I need you.
To cheer yourself up. Put yourself in an empowering position. Remind yourself.
Of who you are before.
You get in it.
Because if you don't, you will.
Tend to ruin something.
You'll ruin it over.
And over because you didn't prepare yourself.
The task.
Is never the thing. The task is managing you. That's the project of life.
