Brian Hoppe and a co-speaker argue that MSPs need stable leadership teams to grow. Keeping the same leaders over time matters more than constant turnover, and even four-year tenures work if people keep developing. Investing in leader development from top to bottom changes the game.
Find a leadership team and stick with them.
Make sure they're the right people. That consistency is so crucial to growing your business.
And we've maintained that same team now, Brian. We went through a lot of trial and error, and it's been a game changer, man. Amazing.
Yeah. And if they work well together, if there's a high level of trust, and if they get stuff done, that's— if they're the right people in the right seat, then absolutely, 100%. On that note, have most of your leaders been in the business for a very long time?
Not a very long time. I would say That consistent for the past 4 years.
And interestingly, probably most of them are now— well, they're working at the highest level they've ever worked at before.
Yeah, well, making sure they're leveling up, Brian, making sure they're developing is crucial. Making sure your teams are developing, self-development in the company from the top to the bottom is so important, man. I did not think that that was a thing. I believe that today. You better invest, invest in these people.
