So I'm on the plane heading to Montreal to visit one of our Quebec based family office clients. And I've purposely waited to watch Michael Katchen, the CEO of wealthsimple, a spectacular company, spectacular CEO, deliver. He's been doing these Steve Jobs sort of reveals of what's happening at wealthsimple, the end of banking, new stuff on investing. And this was the investing, the investing presentation. And you know, he's rolled out, you know, very cheap trading and some options trading which I don't think most, you know, regular folks should be doing, but that's okay. And you can buy gold directly and everything's simple and everything's great. And as I'm sitting on that plane, pretty tired thinking about, you know, what, what we're working on right now, number one, I am an executor for my uncle's estate who unfortunately passed away. And, and that is, that's a lot of work and complex and unfortunately we had one of my favorite clients pass away a few months ago. And we're helping her family and her kids navigate that process. We have three families going through divorce situations and we're working with one and sometimes both of these spouses guiding them through this process along with their family law lawyers and the complexities that come with for some of them having to deal with finances for the first time. And I'm sitting here in awe of what wealthsimple is doing because they're amazing, as I said. But I'm thinking wealth simple, no, wealth hard. And then it sort of struck me that this is a theme that we need to be explaining to folks who have situations that are more complex. So as the plane is taxiing off, literally the wheels are half off the ground on the Runway. Don't tell anybody. I'm hitting buy on the domain www.wealthhard.com. and that's what this is. So I hope you enjoy this site, enjoy some of the videos and get a sense for why at Ginsler wealth we think wealth is not simple, wealth hard.
