Trailer excerpt from the Ginsler Wealth Unlimited podcast featuring economist David Rosenberg. The host introduces Rosenberg; Rosenberg emphasizes passion in work, the importance of having a plan B, and the inevitability of economic cycles (recessions → expansions, bull markets → bear markets and vice versa). Welcome, everyone, to the Gensler Wealth Unlimited podcast. What a great time to be speaking with David Rosenberg, president and chief economist and strategist at Rosenberg Research.
Life is short. Time is our most critical resource, and you don't want to be wasting it on something that you just don't have a passion for. You have to provide something that people can't get somewhere else. Ultimately, the most critical thing, not just for success, but also for survival. I know people say to me all the time, boy, you know, Rosenberg, you're the boy who cried wolf. Which I say, yeah, but the wolf does show up at the end of the story. You don't have the supply demand framework. Well, you know, you don't have a compass. Every recession was followed by expansion. Every bull market followed by a bear market. Every bear market's followed by a bull market, my friends. It's just the cycle. I realized that if you don't have a plan B, you don't have a plan. And that's what I love about this business, is that the questions are always the same, but it's the answers that change.
