Be careful where you live…

A person describes getting severe allergies and eczema from mold in their Miami apartment's air conditioning system. They explain why where you live matters for your health and how to spot mold problems before they damage your skin and lungs.
One of the best things about Florida that people love is the weather. But if you're not careful, the weather can actually be harming your health in a very, very messed up way. And a lot of people don't know this, but for me, for example, when I lived here in Miami, I was sleeping every single day thinking everything was great. But I would wake up sometimes, and my allergies would be crazy. My nose would be stuffy, my eyes would be watery. Feel like a cat was on my face, because I'm allergic to cat. It turns out that there was mold in my air condition. My air condition kept breaking, and mold would pile up with all this water, and it would start spraying, basically, mold spores into the air. And every single day we were living in it. What ended up happening is I started getting eczema on my skin. You can still see a little bit of the. The scar tissue on my left arm and my right arm. Luckily, it's about healed now because it took basically a year and a half to get it recovered. You know, I had to move out of my apartment, move to Arizona, and get out of that environment. You got to really pay attention to the environment, get outside, obviously, as much as possible. But if you're inside all day, you got to make sure you're in the right environment without mold, without pollutants, and without toxins that are harmful for your health.
