The video captures discussions about entrepreneurship, business growth, and personal development, providing a behind-the-scenes look at Brian's life as a successful agency owner.
Okay, so today we are about to travel to Tampa, Florida to knock out two podcasts in the next 48 hours, back to back. And I got my boy Sebastian behind the camera who's going to come along with us and document the whole journey. So you can travel with me and go to two podcasts at 48 hours. We're going to hit John Whiting's bulletproof entrepreneur. And then Andre, the co founder of Client Ascension with Christian and and Dan Crowley, who are all a part of the Klein Ascension crew. I spoke with their most recent event. They asked me to come on their podcast. And so I'm going to take you along the journey with me and show you what it's like a day in the life of an admon. Let's go. Now that we landed in Tampa, I want to quickly show you guys what a day in the life looks like in terms of start to finish. So I'm going to pull up my calendar real quick and show you. So every single day I wake up at six o' clock in the morning and then I work out. So every single morning I wake up at 6 o'. Clock. Rise and shine. And then I work out immediately. Right after I work out, I immediately come back, have breakfast and then we have a daily huddle at ten o' clock every single morning. As a team, it's very important you meet with your team every single day. Today I was traveling so I couldn't meet with them, but my team took care of the huddle and, and now we're gonna head to the actual airport. Lava, get some food and we'll check back with you guys in a second. How's your trip, sir? Good. Yeah, it was quick. An hour flight from Miami, nothing crazy. Yeah, we moved to Miami. Coming up on a year and almost 15 months we've been here now and you know, we hit seven figures in the business with the agency and it was crazy because I put, I took my. Put off the gas a little bit. I remember one of my clients and friends, Brandon Carter, I remember one of my friends, Brandon Carter, telling me, he was like, he called me up after I posted the ClickFunnels Award, the seven figure comic club award. And he was like, bro, you just want to tell you congratulations, man. It's been sick seeing your, seeing your journey because we've known each other for years and he's like, most people never do that, dude. Most people never achieve that. So, like, that's a huge accomplishment. But don't get lazy. Say, don't take your foot off the gas. Because that's when most people start easing up.
Nice to see you. Oh, man, it is great to see you.
John. Sebastian.
What's up, man?
John. Nice to meet you, bro. Pleasure. Nice to meet you.
Did you show them? Show them the rooms?
Yeah, yeah. All right, cool. Appreciate it, by the way.
Yeah, yeah. Hopefully that's up to your standards.
Oh, you know, this is beautiful. Yeah, perfect. Yo, check this out. Got a billion bucks. You want me right here? Yep. Okay. Wow. Check that out. Yeah, so he might be able to. But this whole thing is another monitor and a touch screen. Love touchscreen. Oh, wow. And then he has pictures. You guys have pictures? Oh, yeah, we're starting to do this. So he'll get a picture of you guys together today. So the whole.
The whole premise of the show is the truth about business.
Okay.
So, like, at least that's where I'm trying to go with it. Right. And, like, set, expect, reset people's expectations. Because, like, people's expectations are garbage.
Yeah.
And then everybody is all disappointed and butthurt.
Yeah.
When they're not a millionaire overnight. Right.
Yeah.
Is there anything specific that, like, comes to mind for you that you're like.
Well, I mean, dude, I started my business, I quit my job from Dean Grad USD, and then two weeks later, Covet Hit in the World shut down. And I was like, what the. I just picked the worst time to be an entrepreneur, or so I thought. Right. And that was a big one that I could talk about, like, it's never going to be a perfect opportunity to do it. And I just had to figure it out. Okay. That could be an opportunity. I mean, if that's what you're thinking.
Bryon.
What's up, dude?
Thanks for coming down, man. I really appreciate it.
Yeah, man, thanks for inviting me, dude.
Of all the people that are that were on my list to invite, I'm like, dude, we gotta have Brian. We gotta have Brian. And I told Melissa, I'm like, he's like, just like, the best dude. For you. What's one question that you feel all entrepreneurs should be asking themselves if they want to be successful?
Are you willing to do what it takes and become someone you've never been before? I feel like to get successful. And again, it comes back to, like, what you define as success. But to me, it's constantly progressing in life. Right. So you always have to be getting uncomfortable and challenging yourself. So, like, you have to ask yourself, like, are you willing to do what it takes to get to your next level? Whatever that means. So for Me, it's becoming a better CEO and learning how to discipline and become a better manager. That's my full focus right now. Because if I'm not that, my team can't operate without me, and then I'm in solopreneur for the rest of my life because I can't manage people. So I got to embrace that. Right. So how bad do you want it? How far are you willing to go? And honestly, how often can you look at yourself in the mirror and say, are you satisfied with yourself? Because if you're never. Honestly, I think it's like you have to be satisfied with yourself and comfortable with who you are, but you always have to be dissatisfied because you want to be constantly improving and growing. So I think the question you got to ask yourself is, are you willing to keep showing up for yourself? Because if you don't show up for yourself, you can't expect other people to show up for you, either your team or your clients.
Don't say to us, so turn the.
Key.
Foot on the brake, press the red button on the steering wheel.
Yes.
Yep.
That thing is crazy. Oh, man. Yeah, it's, like, so uncomfortable for me for some reason. I just never.
Intimidating, right?
Yeah, it is. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm scared, you know, so get used to to it. Yeah.
Wow. Yeah, you know, it's pretty straightforward. And I'll slap some B roll on there and some music maybe. Yeah, some. Some background music.
A little bit engaging, and it's good. So now we're heading to Tampa again to talk to Andre, Dan, and Christian for the Stick Talk podcast. We just got done leading John Whiting, had an amazing night together, and last podcast of the trip, and then we're headed back home to Miami. So Stick Talk, here we come. Smoke some cigars, talk to the boys, talk business, talk life, talk growth. And let's go check it out. Just got here to Grand Cathedral Cigars. This place is pretty sick. It's literally a church. And apparently this is where they do the podcast, which I'm still stoked for. So we're about to head in, wait for Andre to come meet us, and then do the Stick Talk podcast. Talk about business, about scaling, about agencies, about all that good stuff. And let's go. What's up, guys? Welcome back to the Stick Talk podcast. We're here with episode 13. 13? Yeah, 13. With a good friend of ours, Brian Moncada.
Welcome to the show.
What's up, guys? Thanks for having me. What was that first, like, big investment that you made to break that limiting Belief of, like, it's worth it. It was honestly the first mastermind I ever invested into, which was 24 grand. And that was when I was still working for Dean Grazioc full time and where Vince told me, cut the fitness out, go on YouTube ads, be the YouTube ads guy. Because I saw the opportunity there. He was like, look, if you do this, it'll just work. And again, I listened to him. And so I paid him. And sure enough, I got my first two clients that same month after investing. You know, I was, you know, not making that much money back then, but I was making like, you know, an extra two grand. Clients pay me an extra two grand a month. I was like, oh, yeah, this is sick. And so that was the biggest investment. And it was also a big hurdle, mentally, because I'm like, I'm not making much money, but I'm just going to take the risk and I'm going to go all in. And that's what I did. I've invested even though I wasn't making enough money for the future payoff. And sure enough, it worked out. And so I just kept repeating that. All I did was I kept repeating that. So, like, it didn't just become 68 grand to Cole Gordon right away. It was okay. That was the first investment. Now I got to invest in another coach. And then like, dude, I invested 156,000 plus within a matter of like two years just on coaching courses and masterminds because it just kept. What's. What's the alternative? I'm going to either win or I'm going to learn. Maybe it's learn what not to do, right? But at least I learned something. I honestly feel like you can't do, like, once you get to 100amonth, but you got to sell more offers, otherwise you can't scale, right? So if you want to scale, you have to offer more. More ads, more creative, more spend more channels, more offers. Yeah. Yeah. Just got done with an amazing cookout with the guys from the Stick Talk podcast. Got to see Daniel catch up with cold email wizard himself. And now Sebastian and I are back at the airport, flying home from Tampa to Miami. It's an amazing 48 hour quick turnaround trip. Two podcasts knocked out in this day in the life of an agency owner. So time to catch a flight back home. And in the video from there.
