This is a YouTube video titled "Don't make this mistake with paid ads #shorts" containing a monologue from February 5, 2023, discussing common beginner mistakes in running YouTube ad campaigns, emphasizing the importance of patience and a minimum three-month testing and optimization period for ads.
Our agency spends close to $2 million a month on YouTube ads. And here's the biggest mistake I see most beginners make. They just don't have the patience to actually see the campaign through. Here's what I mean by that. Ads take time. Take time to test, take time to optimize, take time to actually scale and spend more money. And if you don't have at least three months to spend testing, optimizing and scaling and really working your funnel, your ads and the results, you shouldn't be running ads in the first place. Ads take time. Ads are just going to send more traffic to your page, to your funnel and if it's not working and if it's not converting you're going to waste a lot of and burn a lot of cash. So you need at least three months to be able to do that, test it, optimize it and scale it. If you don't have three months, you shouldn't be running ads.
