Brian Moncada explains why you shouldn't touch your YouTube ads for 3 to 4 days after launching. Google's algorithm needs that time to optimize your spending and find the right audience. Adjusting campaigns early disrupts the process and wastes your budget.
The thing you got to keep in mind with Google, Google will never spend more than your monthly allocated budget. So if you're starting with $500 a day in that month, it'll never spend more than 15 grand. 500 times 30. 15 grand, right. But on a daily budget, you might spend more, you might spend less. And a lot of people freak out. Here they say, Google Ads doubled my budget on the first day I paused all my campaigns. What the hell? But then, like, they'll tell them to relaunch them, and then they'll wait the three to four days. And by day four, that's when the magic starts happening. The algorithm starts optimizing, and then usually you'll be close to KPI if everything you've done up until this point is according to the plan. So don't touch anything for three to four days. It'll spend more or spend less in the first three to four days. Or just in general, doesn't matter when you're just launching. But it's never. It's never going to spend more than your monthly allocated budget.
