How he scaled a $80k/month 'HYBRID' agency while living in Bali

Maciej Gąbriński scaled his hybrid offer agency to $80k/month from Bali using YouTube ads in the Polish market. He transitioned from video editing to agency ownership and discusses how YouTube and Facebook ads differ for client acquisition and growth.
What's up guys? This is Brian with adspend.com I am here with Mache. Mache has been a client of ours for almost six months now and the goal of this video was to simply number one, get to learn more about him, his business and how he's been crushing it in the Polish market, which is completely different than the US market but very similar as well. And more importantly how he's using what we call the hybrid offer. Get his clients really good results and scale his business very profitably as well. So Mache dude, appreciate you doing this man.
No problem.
And I love this shirt by the way, the hoodie Roas.
Yeah, it's a Roas shirt that I got from one of my clients after Dr. Him like crazy Roas.
That's sick bro. That's sick. So. So dude, tell me so where like how did you even find out about me in the first place? I guess is a good question to start.
How did I find about you? I think I don't know if I was searching something about YouTubers. I think I was just on other channels like people were mentioning you. Like I found you on channel over like Ravi Abala or other people like Gordon. Like all of these people that I was watching up to when I was starting with mine own thing that was growing that I was watching a lot of those guys like Cole and other of the people and they were just working with the top of the top in our industry in the English market. So I was like, okay, like this guy knows Something about YouTube.
Nice man. And then talk to people. What do you do? So tell, tell, tell everybody what you do, what your business is and how you help your businesses.
Okay. So as brand told I have a hybrid offer, I call it more of like a billion release. So we have like a four month program and the first month we build the whole funnel for our clients. We focus on two funnels. The. We call it a hybrid funnel by the way.
Hybrid wave bro. It's taken over.
Yeah, yeah, a lot of hybrids. So main source of acquisition for our clients, the most scalable is obviously the VSL funnel. We build the entire funnel for them. Like we set up the GKL automations sequences, we write the VSL the ads and everything here. Then we set up the campaigns. Then we also do an Instagram funnel with them and we also teach them to do YouTube just on the organic side of things to do like create a little personal brand and use that for them in the sales process as first month and then after the next three months we work with them where we help them optimize the whole funnel. We help them with sales and every problem that occurs on the way.
And dude, what made you even think about starting this offer? Because to my knowledge, I don't know anybody else who has a hybrid sort of done for you, done with you program in the Polish market. I think you're the only one, right?
Yeah.
Is that why you started it? Because you saw the opportunity?
Yeah, kind of. I'm like, I'm the only one that was the first person. But then my clients or other people start copying us and now it's more people that are like kind of making like a lot less and they're all their clients are actually going to us. Like my CSM made the term that our competitors are buying ads for us because they get clients. Then they got to us like every single week. I got referrals from other competitors. So I started that. I think what's important here to call us. I was working one of like YouTube agency. It was not YouTube, but it was like YouTube organic agency that was brandive. And I was a video editor. Like three years ago I was making videos for Sergio Kattari, Nick Theriot, Justin Lalonde, and even Kai Bax, you probably know him. And I was just like brainwashing myself when I was editing those videos for Sergio Katari and he was talking all about these building release offers. And I had my agency on the way and I found like, okay, let's maybe try what he's. What he's telling. And I just tried it and it just worked. So that's how I started.
So you basically went from agency owner doing a video editing agency for some of the big, Some, some, some guys in the space, and then you decided to make a shift to a more. It sounds like a more productized service, to be honest. Yeah.
And actually it wasn't like I wanted to do it. I just reminded myself it was my clients. I was just on sales call with people and I was telling them what I would do in the agency offer and they were like, like most of my clients were like NBC owners at that time. So like they had on these like those shoppable content at these. I don't need like this done for me. I don't need that. Could you just like build this for me and then teach me how to do that? I was like, okay. And like it just happened. Like people just wanted the, the, the kind of hybrid offer, let's say.
So that's how I. Yeah, it's funny it's similar to me. I was on a. I was on a sales call and the guy was like, hey, I want you guys to like help me get set up and do. Just do it for me. But then like, I want to learn so I can just kind of like do it myself too. Do you have anything like that? And I was like, no, but we can definitely do that. I was like, let's figure out how we can do it. And then we figured out a deal right then and there. And I. And then eventually I had more people telling me the same thing. So very similar to you. And so that, that's basically what you basically got market feedback. And they just said they just told you what you wanted.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah. So. So tell me about like how it's been since going from obviously the editing stuff to now this. Like, how do you like it?
Oh, I like it a lot because you can make like a hell out like more money and I would anything like speaking in u. S. Currency. I was making like five. 500amonth.
Yeah.
Not. Okay, just 500. So that was not a lot. And right now like we are, the company are making around USD 80, 85k a month. Like that. So the huge is like the difference is huge.
Yeah, yeah. And. And where were you before? Working with me and my team.
I think I was averaging around 40, 40, 40k a month. Something. Something like that. Yeah. I think I don't have the confirmation for my accounting team, but I think we made the last month the biggest month of the year. And in one day we just made 20, 20k USD. Just I don't know what happened. Just like a lot of transfers came in and I think we made cross that 5k in December.
Yeah. And what's interesting too is because we have obviously a very similar model too. So like everything that you're doing and we're doing is just different markets, different industries, different countries. Right. So it was probably a lot cooler for you to work with us because we were just giving you everything that's working in the US Market.
Yeah, exactly. I learned a lot from it too.
Yeah. Hell yeah, dude. And then how are your clients liking it? Better? Like talk to me about the clients. Like, I'm sure they love it a lot better too. Right?
Yeah. So I think first of all I had some clients that were like on another level. And I also knew like before I was joining us that no one is doing like YouTube ads in the Polish market on high ticket offers. So I was like, okay, let me just do it. Let me just Find those guys and set up that for me and for my clients. So I not only did that for my offer, also that for a couple of my clients offers and one of our client offer like we are just. The cost per call is like really cheap. Is like 10 bucks on seven day of the campaign on YouTube with spending around 400 USD a day. So even for the US market I think like people are spending less than that.
Yeah.
Oh yeah, yeah.
So like this is the guy that's getting a 13x this client of yours, right?
Yeah, yeah. Hold on. A single campaign. Yeah, he's getting that 13x and yeah, it's been just crushing it for him. And I, I found out that just for, for this offer and for my offer, like YouTube ads have been a lot better. Like recently like I have cost per leads. I was like. At first when I launched a campaign it was like, it was like really expensive and I was like we made a couple, a couple tweaks and I was looking the in my Slack channel with paid YouTube ads applications. I was like, what's going on? Why There are like so many of them, right. Only spending like 25 a day. And I then look at it's in the metrics and I was like we're getting leads for the cost of click that I have on Facebook. And then the quality is also better. Like on every single application. If I look in my Slack channel, I just see like youtubers, they earn a lot. Like they earn around 10 25k to 50k in the application wherein it's like police data. And in Facebook usually a lot of applications are just like less than 2k. Less than 2k, less than 2k. Some of them are qualified, we can worry them but it's like it's. I don't know just what's going on. Why is there a huge difference between those two platforms? And on YouTube is also like cheaper for us to get calls right now.
Yeah. And I want to highlight something because you basically capitalized on a blue ocean, which was nobody's running YouTube ads in the market. And so you saw that as opportunity which prompted you to want to work with us. And so now you were the first to market basically.
Yep.
Yeah. And now you're just leveraging that same skill which you learned. Now you're just doing it for your clients in the hybrid offer.
Yeah.
That's sick, man. Yeah. And so like dude, for you, like what's been like one of the biggest differences between YouTube and Facebook, like the different platforms having come from Facebook before.
You mean in terms of like buying.
Or just that are media buying strategy. Like, what's the biggest like, difference Would you say that you've learned? Because I mean, I know you have ads now that are running that have been crushing. So like, what would be the biggest difference to people that are watching this that are like, maybe even like hesitant to get on YouTube, but they're running on Facebook?
Yeah. The main difference is like, if you don't know what you're doing on YouTube, then it's scary. And I was like this, like, it's not looking like Facebook. Like, it's. It's just very complicated. And I think like, if I wouldn't like work with us or someone else on YouTube ads, then it will take me, I don't know, like maybe two years and I would give up on the way because it's like so complicated compared to Facebook. Like launching some offer on Facebook, easy. Like you're starting like one, two days and you get like you're releasing KPIs and when you're doing on YouTube, then at first, like you have even that in the materials. Like, don't touch anything for 14 days. I was like, why? Then I look at my campaigns and I'm like, okay, like the first two days. Yeah, it's crazy how it goes. And I just can't imagine like some of my clients, if we're doing that for, on a scale for our clients, like, they will go crazy. Like maciej, why is my cost per, like, this is really high. I can afford to spend that money, but you really have to like wait like seven days until the KPIs, like go closer to what you want to spend on, let's say cost per call. So that's the first thing is like, you need to understand how to just run the YouTube bus in general and how it actually works to have the proper expectations. But other than that, it's actually one of the benefits I would say is less managing than Facebook. Like literally just come like once a week and see what changes you can make there. And the creative lasts longer than Facebook. And also it's more scalable. I just saw like I can just from one day increase like 2x. They expand on some of my ads to like 100 to 400 to 300. And it's still working. Like when I would do that on Facebook, the cost will go like out of work. And yeah, that was our main struggle, like before we start working with you, that when I was working my sales teams, I was just increasing the ad spend like some Stuff were going, and we weren't getting more calls and anything, and the calls were just like, up.
Yeah, yeah. More scalable, creative lasts longer. And it's just. It's a. It's a broader ocean of traffic, too. I'm. I'm gonna be interested to see when you go back to Poland, bro, how much of a celebrity you'll be, bro, Because I feel like you're just. You're gonna saturate already.
I. I was like, it's actually really funny. Like, I don't think I'm. I'm a big. I've been the big name, like, in. Just in Poland, let's say. But I was at one room in Bali. It's called Nirvana. I was getting from Cold Plant on one evening, and then someone tapped me on the shoulder and. And tells offer the high ticket. That means, like in Polish, offer, like, how to get over. I was like, what the fuck? And this guy's like, oh, I was seeing your ads on Instagram. Like, oh, that's crazy.
That's so funny, dude. Yeah, man, you're crushing. You're just saturating the Marketplace with just YouTube Facebook ad spend, bro. Just ads all over the place. And it's funny too, because you go ahead.
Yeah, it's like a lot of us.
And that's the best part about YouTube too. Like, that's. That's the celebrity effect. Because with YouTube ads, you're just getting constant impressions as well. And so when you know how to buy on YouTube and Facebook, it just creates the omnipresence. And then one thing you were telling me too, is now you're just seeing a lot more opportunities for offers as well in the marketplace of people that just don't have, like. I remember you and I were talking in Slack about, like, you see all these opportunities of like, offers for sales, offers for CSMs, those kind of things now. So, you know, you really could take that skill set and start just. Just. Just whipping up offers as well.
Yeah, I would. I really like to do that. But not for now. Like, it's. It's a great opportunity in my head, but I. Yeah, you know what? It is like a woman that are dressed for now. So you also like something really, really good in the materials that I watch. I think we talk about that in one of the YouTube videos. Like, you people want to create, like, other offers because it gets hard on the current offer, let's say the kind of person that I can't take care of. But when you grow this shiny object, new offer and you get that to 100k a month, then you will have the same problem again. So yeah, it's better.
Yeah, that's literally what happened. So that's why I had to keep, I had to. I was telling you because I was, I was talking to myself too because that always happens to me. You and I are very similar. That's why we get along because it's like I see the opportunities and I'm like, that sounds great. And it's like I remember Alex Hermosi saying it in one of his videos too. He said it a little bit better. He was like, the business you want to start is the one that's already in front of you on your desk. And I was like, it's going to be the same issues no matter what you do. Yeah, 100. But dude, so, so where do you want to take this thing next? Right? Because I mean you got the hybrid, it's cooking, it's, it's working, it's cranking. So like how far do you want to scale this thing?
So we're trying to scale this to like 1 million now Poly, which is like quarter of a million, like 250k USD this year. I think like we can, we can really do that because like last year I had this goal also but I didn't like knew like what probably will come the way like scaling the fulfillment, scaling the sales. And right now I have like that prepared for, for scaling. I have our entire like CSM playbooks, like SOPs, everything that I need, proper tracking for them, just anything I just like grab another csm, put them, put them in. And now I have like more scalable fulfillment. So yeah, it's just like 250k this year. I hope that will fit and like hit it.
There you go, dude. And that, that's what you've been really pretty much getting help with in the back end, right at the mastermind, more of the CSM fulfillment leadership. Because that's a big thing that most people get stuck on is like hiring, managing, training and doing a bunch of QC and then like making sure everyone's motivated and everything. That's the huge thing that most people get stuck on that keeps them stuck at the, at the little park as well.
Yeah.
And so you're going to be joining us in New York, right? Yeah, yeah, I just, I saw you RSVP this morning.
Yeah, yeah, I figured out make the trip.
It's going to be fun, bro.
Yeah, it's going to be, it's going to be scary. But I decided like, okay, let's do.
This because you said you've only flown once.
Yeah, only once. Only once. I was flying, I was invited to one of the biggest podcasting, marketing and sales in Las Vegas. And I was like, I mean, it's the biggest podcast. But I didn't want to go because, like, I never flied. But my friend asked, like, he was like, okay, I can fly with you. So I fly with my. One of my friends and then I fly to Bali with him and I just stayed here.
Are you bringing him to New York too?
No, no, actually I would just bring my. My csm.
Yeah, there you go. Okay, cool. We'll have both of you guys. Yeah, that'll be sick, man. It'll be worth it. You'll have a lot. Have a good of fun. It'll be a lot of cool people as well. So sweet, dude. Well, dude, tell everybody watching how they can find you, right? Because there's going to be people that want to learn from you to know what you're doing and how they can work with you. So where can they find you, bro?
Yeah, they can find me on Instagram. Macie Gabrinski. Same on YouTube. I have also like, like Polish and English Instagram when I used to have my English offer in the. In the US Marketplace, but I only lose like the Polish one and Polish YouTube. And also if you type in Gavronify, which is our company in Google, you'll find us here.
Yeah, 100. We'll put his Instagram and YouTube in the description as well. You guys got to follow this guy. I mean, he's been one of my favorite clients I've ever worked with. He takes action relentlessly. He's, you know, he's in Bali right now living it up, and he's going to become a local celebrity in Poland pretty soon. So. Yeah, dude, we'll talk to you soon, bro. And if you guys have any questions, hit them up and we'll see you guys in the next one. Peace.
