The speaker explains how developing valuable skills like YouTube ads expertise helped him access circles of 8 and 9-figure entrepreneurs. He argues that offering real value is the key to networking up, not just asking for connections.
To be able to provide value, you have to have a valuable skill that can actually provide value to somebody. So, like with Cole, Gordon and Sam specifically, that skill for me was YouTube ads. Like, I just was the YouTube ads expert for the longest time running ads for these big names. And I would have all that experience under my tool belt. And without that experience, I don't think I would have been as valuable to them specifically, because that's exactly what they wanted help with at the time that I was introduced to them. And. And I saw that as an opportunity as well. So I think it comes back to, like, if you're just starting off, for example, and you're someone who wants to be around these amazing social circles where you're around these winners and you want to be experiencing life like, you know, you're seeing someone like Presley and like all these other guys do, who you follow? Well, number one, how do you actually get around those social circles? To be around the social circles, you have to be someone who's valuable, right? So how do you become valuable? You have to be someone who actually has a skill that can provide value to the group and the rest of the social circle.
