This is a YouTube video titled "How to network the right way #shorts" containing a monologue from March 20, 2023, discussing the speaker's perspective on authentic networking as building genuine relationships rather than transactional business exchanges. The content features a single speaker sharing personal insights on networking.
Networking, honestly, is like, total bullshit. I mean, like, people think of networking and they think of, like, a bunch of guys in a room with suits trying to grow each other's businesses, and they're all, like, selfishly trying to take from each other. And it's all a taker mentality. Like, I'm trying to get something from this person. So I'm going to network with them, because if I network with them, then my business will grow. But the reality is, that's not how you actually network. The biggest people, business owners, friends, you know, multimillionaires that I've networked with, it was never a place of like, hey, let's get together so we can network. It was like, hey, yo, man, I'm going to go do this thing over here. You want to come with? And naturally, business start being talked about. Then as a result, we become friends, and people start making money as a result. But I was never trying to take from them. They were never trying to take from me. We helped each other out, gave each other advice, and then they introduced me to more cool people just like them. And if you're just a cool dude who's trying to add value to their net worth, and that's how you really network.
