Brian Moncada explains how to use Instagram to build trust and brand identity instead of pushing direct sales. He shares his perspective on what Instagram is actually for and how to engage your audience the right way.
Picture yourself walking down, like, Madison Avenue, right? There's a bunch of different shops on the left and right. Like, there's the Rolex store, there's the Timex store, there's the, you know, Ralph Lauren, whatever. Your Instagram profile is, like, the outside of the store, they're seeing at a glance what's what, what you're all about. But then when they click on your stories, that's when they actually enter the door and they're like, okay, let me see what he actually has to offer. So why? The reason why I share that analogy is because with your Instagram, the way I view it is not really to, like, sell people. It's just to get people again to, like, know and trust me, to get a glimpse into the lifestyle and actually see me and be like, ok, okay, this guy actually is a cool guy and he's genuine and he truly wants to help people. So it's just building my brand even more to where eventually they want to DM me and they say, yo, I'm ready to go. There's people that have been messaging me over the weekend and saying, I've seen the yesterday. And they're like, I'm going to be at the next one. I'm going to be at the next one. I'm like, all right, we'll see. But I don't really work my DMS too much.
