This is a YouTube video titled "How To Write The Perfect HOOK" created in May 2024. The content features a single speaker explaining strategies for creating effective hooks in advertising, particularly focusing on targeting specific audiences like coaches and course creators to reduce marketing costs. The speaker shares personal experience with YouTube ads and emphasizes the importance of specificity in messaging for B2B marketing.
This is going to be what you want to do. When you want to film your first ads, the very most important piece is the hook. In the first 10 to 15 seconds, you want to make a crazy hook. Make a big promise or claim, ask a question, call out your ideal client or customer, act out the problem or mistake that your clients or customers make for us. Specifically with our YouTube ads for our company, which we run for our, you know, YouTube ads offer, I realized that my first set of ads, I wasn't following this principle. And the reason why our cost per booked call qualified call was so high, about 1,000 bucks, was because I wasn't being specific to coaches and course creators. I was just saying, you know, YouTube ads is very general. But when I added the call out of coaches and course creators immediately, half cost per marketing qualified call immediately. And some of you have to think about that when you're talking to your ideal audience. If you're doing a B2C, it's obviously a little bit different, right? That's more indirect. But if you're a B2B, like, you gotta talk to your very specific ideal avatar.
