I bought every guru’s course and actually made millions (here's how)

A former door-to-door salesman shares how he went from broke to building a multi-seven-figure business by buying courses from top entrepreneurs, shifting his mindset, and acting faster than competitors. He credits networking, goal setting, and speed of implementation as the real drivers of his success.
I've spent over $350,000 on courses, online programs and masterminds from people like Tai Lopez, Tony Robbins and Grant Cardone. And before I bought my first course, I was like everyone else. I thought I was just going to get scammed or ripped off and that nothing would work. I assume that the only way these guys make money is by selling the dream. I actually grew up with a friend in Texas named Steven who you might know as Coffeezilla. And we were actually best friends in elementary school. And he got famous because. Because he was exposing fake gurus in this industry. And even though the majority of the people he exposed definitely were shady and doing unethical things, I can't agree with him fully because I am one of the people that actually bought these courses and got results. I went from being a broke door to door sales rep after graduating college who was listening to Grant Cardone all day long, to building a seven figure agency and now multi seven figure education company in less than five years. And it was because I discovered the three most important factors that allowed all of them to make money online. And at the end of this video, I'm going to show you my journey step by step, and exactly how much money I've invested into myself so that you can see with your own eyes that this is real, legitimate and not just some fluff or theory. So let's go. So one of the very first people I ever saw selling courses online was a guy named Tai Lopez. And even though I never bought anything from him personally, I have a lot of friends who did 67 steps. We've all seen that ad at one point in our lives where Tai Lopez is in his garage in front of his Lamborghini and a bunch of books. The very first online course I ever bought was actually by a guy named Grego Gallagher. It was a workout program called the Greek God Program by Kenobody. And he was running ads on YouTube as well. And I clicked it and I bought it. And I used that workout program to eventually transform my body in college at Arizona State University to put on size, get muscles, and develop more self confidence. Now, funny enough, I actually got to meet Tai Lopez last week. I did a podcast with him where he interviewed me and how I was able to grow my company and run ads for guys just like him. And it was all because of information. Getting access to the right information. None of the actual tactics matter unless you implement the one thing, the most important thing that all of these online gurus have that you don't. And it's probably what's actually keeping you from buying more courses, coaching programs, or joining masterminds. Because it's the thing that you're actually avoiding and it's adopting a growth mindset. Now, I know it sounds kind of cringey. You're watching this, you're like, oh my gosh, a guy talking about mindset again. But the reality is, the reason why all these people are successful is because they've adopted a growth mindset. They've changed their mindset and their belief system around investing into their self education. Now, stick with me for a second, okay? Tai Lopez says, right, the more you learn, the more you earn. That's why when he did the Here in my garage ad, he showed the Lamborghini. That's what you and I or most people in the middle of America want. They want the fancy car, the nice watch, all those different materialistic things. But then he pans to the library, to the bookshelf, and what do you see? I have right here, a library full of books. And until you actually invest in your self education and buy more courses, buy more coaching programs, and buy more masterminds to be a part of, you're never going to earn more because you're never going to be around the right people who also have that growth mindset. You need to adopt a growth mindset. Okay, cool. So the more I learn, the more I earn. But, you know, how do I actually build this growth mindset? How do I actually adopt a growth mindset and build a good belief system? Well, one of the very first things that I learned from Grant Cardone's 10x rule was setting massive goals and taking massive action. And this goes to actually point number two and inside the mindset and belief system, which is visualization and goal setting, right? You need to set clear, ambitious goals. In the book, he says, you want to set massive goals, right? Not little baby tiny goals. But for me, my massive goal is a hundred thousand dollars a year. I wrote it down in my journal every single day, every morning and every night. I make $100,000 a year. I make $100,000 A year. And sure enough, eventually I did hit that goal. The problem was when I got there, I was like, well, that was easier than I thought it would be. And it actually happened quicker than I thought it would. But now what? And then I had to reinvent myself and figure out what the next goal was, what the next goal was. And now in our business, we make $100,000 pretty much every other week or so, right? So it's like, okay, I wish I would have thought bigger from the very beginning. And now obviously, as you achieve those goals, you start getting a tolerance for how big you are and how big you want to think the next thing. Besides just setting the goal, you got to visualize that goal every single day. Which is why Grant in his book says, write your goals down every morning, every and every night and visualize yourself achieving that goal as you're writing it down. You gotta be crystal clear on that target. And then last but not least, you want to make sure you break that goal down into actionable steps. How are you going to do it? For me, I never really focus on the how too much personally for you that might help you. But for me, I just like focusing on the big picture. The details always seem to work themselves out as long as you know where you're going. Now this is by far probably one of the most important pieces of this equation here. Okay? If you don't get this, the things I just told you don't matter. You have to, and I mean have to, have to, have to start positive thinking. Start thinking positive and adopt a new identity of self belief. A good example of this is Tony Robbins, right? He always tells you, focus on self confidence, focus on changing your state. The more you change your state, the more you're in a good mood, the more you adapt and you smile and you, you're powerful, right? You overcome any self doubt. He always talks about that. That's why he jumps on a trampoline before he goes out on stage. That's why he does his little move, right, and he goes out and he's changing his state. He's controlling his mind, he's controlling his thoughts, he's thinking positive, he's controlling his world, his environment. This is why I love the book the Psychology of Selling. Like I already mentioned from Brian Tracy, one of the biggest things I learned from that book was the power of positive affirmations. The three words he told me in that book that I still use to this day that have helped me overcome any self doubt and gain massive confidence are so simple. He said, I like myself. I like myself. I like myself. I like myself. He said he would say those three words to himself every single day when he was driving to his next sales appointment. And he would say it so fast and so confident that eventually he would catch himself laughing at how stupid it was and how funny it was that he was saying it to himself in that manner. But it got him into a positive state. Start programming yourself to think positive and the way you do that, the way you confirm this, the way you crystallize this is, is you surround yourself with supportive, like minded individuals. You have to get around a friend group, a community of people who are just like you, who are just as ambitious, just as actionable and just as interested in the thing you're trying to do as well. When you adopt the growth mindset, when you start visualizing and goal setting, and when you start thinking positive and truly believing in yourself, those are the most important factors for you to achieve any results in anything. Until you do those three things, you will never achieve any results with any course or any program or any mastermind you join. So straight up, you just won't. A big challenge you're going to face, especially when you start investing in yourself and buying courses, coaching programs or mastermind, is you're going to have people in your life that are not of this growth mindset and they are going to try to keep you stuck with where you are. You have to surround yourself supportive, like minded individuals if you want to have any chance of succeeding. Because until you do, you're always going to be brought back down with your current environment. And people that are just trying to keep you stuck because the reality is they're stuck too. So the second thing that I studied from all of these online gurus and entrepreneurs that you and I both learned from, that they all do really, really well and they all have, which is why they're so successful, is they have a strong network. We all hear it all the time, right? Your network is your net worth. My life changed when I joined my first mastermind. The first mastermind I ever went to. I paid about $2,500. It was my birthday. It was an excuse to go travel to Toronto, Canada. I sat in to experience what this mastermind would be like, to be around other people who were just like me, also interested in growing an online business. And at that very first Mastermind, I sat in on the coach who was running the mastermind, gave me the seven figure agency idea. He said, dude, cut this fitness stuff out. Because that's what I was doing at the time. You can go on my YouTube channel, you can see I was doing fitness stuff, fitness content. He said, put that on pause, go all in on YouTube ads. Why? Because you run YouTube ads for one of the biggest people in the entire space. And if you just double down on that, you can leverage that to create a bigger agency, get more clients, make more money. And I listened to that advice even though I didn't want to at that time. But I did. And that's what allowed me to then take that idea, start building my own agency, and eventually scale it to seven figures. In less than two years. In less than two years. But it wouldn't have happened if I didn't join my first mastermind. And I surrounded myself and started increasing and improving my network. You have to start building a strong network. Because I now have friends all across the world that I've met up with in person and can meet up with in person. And every single time I do business happens. The more people I know, the more people that introduce me to people that they know. Your network is your net worth. And this is even more important to you, Especially if you're someone who's just starting out. You don't have a business yourself. You're looking to build that business, but you don't have much resources. The thing you need to do more than anything is start providing value to other people as much as you possibly can. But the only way you can find people that you can provide value to is you start networking. You start meeting people, you start shaking hands, introducing yourself and saying, hey, I'm here, I want to be here. Who do you know that can help me get closer to being there? So one of the things that I actually learned on top of just building a strong network and meeting people was actually adding value to them. The first ever clients I got from my agency, I did not charge them anything. Why? Because I didn't know how much to charge them. I was a beginner. I didn't know what I should charge or what I should do and how it worked. I didn't know how business worked. So I actually did it for free. I would just offer my services for YouTube ads to them and their business for free. And as a result, I added so much value to them. Why? Because I knew if I just got them the business that they wanted, the results they wanted, they would continuously feed me and my agency for years and years to come. And I started growing my agency by word of mouth and referrals. You have to meet people that you know you can provide value to, and you have to provide value to them first before actually wanting to take something from them. Now, this is gonna piss you off, but this is the truth. The last and final thing that all these guys do that you don't, which is why they are where you wanna be and you are where you currently are right now, is they take consistent daily action and implement everything as fast as humanly possible. Speed of implementation. When they Hear something. When they learn something, when they have a new idea, they execute on it immediately. They fail fast. Why? Because they know that the person that's competing with them is usually over here, overthinking that idea where this person, like a Grant Cardone, like a Tai Lopez, like a Gary Vee, right? Like a Tony Robbins. They get it, they try it, they test it. Maybe it works, maybe it works, maybe it doesn't. It doesn't matter. They're building a habit of discipline and consistent daily action and speed of implementation, which is why they're successful. They failed more times than you ever tried. Think about what I just said. They fail more times than you have ever tried in your entire life. And that is why they are where you want to be. Because they are not afraid to fail. They will take massive action and fail faster than you can ever think about even trying. And when you fail fast and you've tried so many times, guess what? You never lose. That's something that people don't think about. Everyone thinks about, especially when they're starting off, oh, I failed. It didn't work. No, you learned. You learned what didn't work? You have data now to show you this didn't work. So you shouldn't do this, but maybe you can now try this. Maybe it would work if you did it like this. Maybe you should try this instead. You now have data to back your actual next steps off of and get get better results. This is why most people don't actually try, because they're afraid to fail. But the people who fail fast and fail, most are the ones that acquire more data. They're not afraid of failing because they acquire the data they can use to then improve and get better results, too. Now, here's the thing. A lot of our parents teach us things growing up that whether right or wrong, it's just what they were hoping would give us the best results. Sometimes, though, our parents, our teachers, even though they mean well and they're good role models for us, they don't have access to the right information because maybe they didn't invest in the information that was required for them to get to their next level in life as well. And so you and I, we have to be the ones to look into the right information to invest into ourselves and get access to this information. Don't be afraid to invest in that course. Don't be afraid to invest in that coaching program. Don't be afraid to join that mastermind and meet more people who are just like you. That is how you can surround yourself with the right information.
