This is a YouTube video titled "IF I WERE TO START FROM SCRATCH, THIS IS WHAT I’D DO // BRIAN MONCADA" containing a monologue by Brian Moncada recorded in March 2024. In the video, Brian Moncada discusses his content strategy for 2024, emphasizing the use of Twitter as a writing platform and YouTube for repurposing content into long-form videos.
So if you were starting from scratch, what would you do? Brian? Like, would you start with YouTube and then repurpose from there? So my plan for 2024 is YouTube, YouTube ads, email, right? But if I was to start from scratch, YouTube would be my main platform, but I would also substitute that with Twitter. Twitter, in my opinion, is really, really underrated. So what I would do is sell. To answer your question, if I was starting all over from scratch again, is I would use Twitter as my writing platform. So post your writing material on Twitter. You, you're going to get data and feedback of what's working from Twitter and then you're going to use that to post your long form video. Because your thread eventually becomes your YouTube video, right? Based off your threads and your tweets, you can turn that tweet into a full long form piece of content as well if it hits. So I would use Twitter as my writing platform and then I would repurpose the content on YouTube once a week. One video on YouTube per week.
