An entrepreneur explains how to stop doing everything yourself and start managing instead. Document your processes, train someone else to do them, then move on to the next task. That's how you work on your business instead of in it.
The biggest problem I see most entrepreneurs make that I made when I was stuck at 20 to 30k a month was I was doing everything in the business. I was doing fulfillment, I was doing customer service, I was doing marketing, I was doing sales, I was doing finance, accounting, bookkeeping, everything. But I had no clue how to do all those things very, very well. The easiest way I duplicated myself was I had one of my friends who wanted to work with me come out for two weeks and shadow me. He sat with me, saw me what I did, clicked what I clicked, just did exactly what I did, and I was training him. I filmed everything on Loom. We documented it and we put it in Google Drive and we used it to train the next person and the next person and the next person. We just documented all the processes from start to finish using Loom, a free software. And when you do this, you can then give this library full of trainings to the next person you hire for your business. You can get out of the business and focus on managing the business. It's actually that simple. So actually, just go do it. That's the easiest way. Start documenting your stuff that you're doing right now, even if you don't have anyone who's working for you, because when you do, you can just give it to them and say, here's what you do.
