Running ads to a VSL book, a call funnel, and expecting people to close on their own is something that used to work just a few years ago, but nowadays, skepticism is through the roof. So if you're expecting to have somebody who doesn't know you sees your ad and then automatically want to buy on the first call that they ever talk to you, you're probably wishing for Santa Claus to drop presents down your chimney. And so what you need to do instead is you need to be able to create YouTube content that shows them you're an actual real person and gives them value before they show up to the call. You also need to be sending consistent emails that give them value and show them you're actually legitimate and show them social proof of other people who have bought the same service that can help them. And you also got to make sure you add them to a school community or something that can actually nurture them and show them that they're a part of a bigger community that actually is getting help from somebody like you. This is the way to scale with paid ads today.
