This is a YouTube video titled "MAKE SURE YOUR ADS CHANNEL IS SET UP THIS WAY // BRIAN MONCADA" containing a single-speaker explanation about optimizing YouTube ad channels by separating them from main channels to avoid negative comments impacting conversions. The content was created on March 31, 2024, and focuses on digital marketing strategies related to YouTube ads.
Here's the cool part. This is a pro tip. So we just recently onboarded a new client, and they're running ads from their main channel with YouTube. The problem with that is because YouTube ads are responsive now, which means they're no longer the ones you can just skip after five seconds. So you can click on that ad, but it'll take you to a YouTube video page like it's a regular YouTube video, but most of the time it's an unlisted video because it's an ad. However, people can now comment on those videos. And there was a client that we onboard, it had like 50, 15 negative comments. People clicking on that ad are now going to see those comments and probably not going to convert. So what you should do for your ads channel, it's more than just diversification, but more than anything, it's keeping the ads separate from your main channel. Because your main channel is focused on organic growth and it's optimizing for something completely different. Your ads channel is only focused on getting conversions, and you want to actually disable comments on your ads channel. You can do that because it's just an ads channel. So now when they click on your video, they can't leave comments. It's just the ad.
