This is a YouTube video titled "Most marketers do this..." containing a discussion between two speakers about marketing strategies, focusing on improving product quality rather than expanding complexity, and the challenges marketers face when scaling their business. The conversation highlights the preference for launching new products over managing operations for growth. The speakers are not identified as Brian Moncada.
Don't try and get bigger, try and get better, and then you get bigger by default. And I think that getting better is. Is like, you say that that's the focus on just the one thing.
It's not about adding more. If you want to go faster, you know that. You guys know the. The easiest way to go faster is. Is by what.
Strip it down to the bare essentials?
Yeah. You remove shit, you don't add shit. You reduce the weight. Whenever stuff gets a little bit too difficult at times, like, in terms of, like, it gets harder because you got to make the product better. It's easier for us as marketers to launch something new. You get the dopamine of launching something new. You get the gratification of going, creating and building something different and unique and launching it, getting an influx of sales. You get right back to the same point again, where you have to scale it and you have to do the things that you were avoiding in the first place. Most marketers that get from like 100 to 250k a month, it gets complex because they have to become a better manager that instead of doing that, they would much rather launch something, something else. Because it's easier from a marketing perspective, because they're good at marketing, but they're not good at managing and operations.
