Brian Moncada shares a goal-setting trick from Sam Ovens: put sticky notes with your goals in places you see every day so they stay in your subconscious. The repetition keeps you focused on what you want to achieve.
There's a simple little goal setting technique that you can start implementing into your life and business to start hitting your goals faster and more efficiently than having to write them down every single day. And I actually learned this technique from Sam Ovens. He gets some sticky notes and he writes his goal down on this sticky note and then he puts it everywhere that he goes on a daily basis. Right when you walk in my front door, you will see that there's a sticky note right here with a goal that we have in our business here@adspin.com if you keep walking inside my apartment, you will see and I also have this goal right before I leave and get my keys to go to the front door. And again, the goal is right here for me to see. And then if I go to the fridge, you will also see that I have a lot of things. But besides all those other things, I have the goal again right here. Bed. I wake up. What's the first thing I see? I see my goal again right by the 2 comma Club Award. No matter what I'm doing in the day, no matter where I'm going, my goal is on my subconscious mind every single second of the day, no matter what.
