This is a YouTube video titled "Some people are faking this to brag in social media and sell courses." It features a single speaker discussing the misconception around making a million dollars in business revenue, explaining that many people exaggerate their success to gain social proof and sell courses. The speaker shares personal insight about the difference between gross revenue and actual profit.
This is basically like a Grammy for business owners. It means you've made a million dollars in revenue in your business in one calendar year, and only about 5% of businesses actually make seven figures or more per year, which is pretty crazy when I heard that stat. But what's interesting is most people who have this actually didn't truly get it. Here's what I mean. There's a lot of people that actually fake the number to get access to this plaque right here to they just brag on social media and start selling anything and everything to everyone who might buy something from them. And a lot of people don't know this, but just because you made a million dollars doesn't mean you're a millionaire. In fact, when I made my first million dollars and got this plaque, I actually only netted about $368,000 in profit. So just because you make a million dollars doesn't mean you keep a million dollars. Something that most people won't tell you because their ego's too big.
