This is a YouTube video titled "Spending money on things you love." containing a discussion between two speakers about personal spending habits, focusing on valuing experiences and meaningful purchases over materialistic items like luxury cars. The conversation emphasizes individual preferences in financial goals and lifestyle choices. The content was created in August 2024.
So as you can see, I am.
Not driving.
A Ferrari, a Porsche, a Mustang, even. I'm in a Toyota Camry. Toyota Camry. Tried and true. Old reliable. I'm not a car guy. Never been a car guy. Never really been into materialistic things either, besides just this Rolex that I have on my wrist. And that's just who I am, right?
People always tell you you gotta buy toys or start saving for toys or you should set a goal for yourself to buy a certain.
Object when you hit a milestone. And that does help some people. For me, once.
I got the Rolex.
And, you know, that was pretty much the only thing that I wanted, I started focusing on investments and spending my money or actually mattered to me. For me, that's memories, experiences, travel, and bringing people together. So you got to find what works for you, right? Just because someone else likes cars doesn't mean you might not like cars, right? So when you start earning money, find what you like to spend money on and just put it there. Don't listen to anybody else and what they tell you you should buy.
