This is a YouTube video titled "Start documenting everything NOW #shorts" containing a monologue from August 29, 2023, where a single speaker encourages viewers to begin documenting their personal and professional journeys early to build skills and track progress over time. The speaker shares their own experience starting documentation during college and how it benefited their growth.
You know this, but you're still not doing it. You need to start documenting your journey now so you can look back 10 years, 20 years, 30 years from now, and be able to see just how far you've come, but not only for that, so you can actually get the skills you need now while you're documenting, even though you're still trying to figure it out to set yourself up for success when you have more clarity on what you're actually creating content for. I personally started documenting my journey on YouTube 10 plus years ago, back when I was a sophomore or junior at Arizona State University. And I had no clue what I was doing back then, but I started speaking as a camera, documenting my journey in the gym, and sharing what I was learning along the way. And that set myself up for success today because I'm still doing that exact thing. I've just pivoted, changed my direction along the way, and I've had the skills learned back then and I'm applying them today, and I'm 10 times better than I would be had I just started right now.
