Stretching is a scam by the way and this is another life lesson that I wish I knew before. I used to spend hours in the gym before working out, warming up and by warming up I meant stretching for 2030 minutes like you know doing this kind of thing and like you know stretching my arms out and all that stuff and what I've actually learned thankfully through training functional patterns is that stretching just makes your muscles looser. When I stopped stretching and I focused on instead working core movements, functional movements and more importantly focusing on myofascial release actually releasing my tight muscles I had way better recovery. I slept better, my body felt better and I wasn't as tight. Go figure. You stretch because you want to be less tight but it actually makes you more tight. Long term stretching is a scam. I do not recommend it and trust me if you stop doing it you'll also see why I stopped doing it too.
