This is a YouTube video titled "The best business to start if you’re broke and poor #shorts" featuring Brian Moncada delivering a motivational and practical talk about the importance of getting a job to learn skills before starting a business. The content, created in February 2023, focuses on career advice for individuals lacking skills and work experience, emphasizing working to learn rather than just to earn.
If you're broke and poor, here's the business you should start. It's called getting a job. Now, I know that sounds funny, and you're probably watching this saying, all right, fuck this guy, right? But the reality is, if you have no skills, no work experience, and no value to add to the marketplace, you need to actually get a job, learn a trade, develop some skills, and then be able to go off and start your own business once you have those skills. Work to learn, not to earn. A lot of people, they just want to work to earn money, but they don't have the skills learned from the job to be able to actually earn money. So work to learn the skills first. Actually use those skills to add more value to the market, marketplace with your employer. And then once you do that, you'll have way more opportunity than you could ever imagine. So get great at a job first, learn the skills, and then start a business using those same skills later.
