Chances are you aren't fit to be a good leader One of the best books I've read on leadership was called Good Leaders Ask Great Questions by John C. Maxwell. And in that book he talks about how leaders are really servers, or servants as he calls them. They're serving your team, you're serving your clients. And if you aren't a good server for your team or for your clients, you can never be a leader because leaders put their team and their clients first. And you have to realize that you might not also be a good fit for a leader because you might be a better person, for example cmo, compared to a CEO or a CEO if you're good at marketing. That doesn't mean you might be a good leader, but you have to learn leadership qualities and how to become a leader along the way. Otherwise, you'll have to eventually hire a CEO to replace. You can manage, lead and instruct your team better than you. Otherwise you will always cripple yourself at your next level of your business and get in your own way.
