How to win friends and influence people. That book taught me a few things. Number one, the sweetest thing you can ever say to somebody else is someone's name is their name. One thing I started doing was memorizing people's names in the common areas that I would go. So the gym would be one of them. The front door guy, his name was Cam. I just would read his name tag and I'm like, yo, what's up, Cameron? He didn't know my name. He was like, oh, what's up, dude? I immediately knew he felt bad he didn't know my name. He looked down like trying to nonchalantly looking at my name and he goes, have a good one, Brian. And I was like, yeah. And then the next day I come in, yo, what's up, Cameron? Brian, what's up, dude? And like I would have conversations with him. Point being, memorize people's names. They're going to obviously take notice of you and try to memorize your name from there on point.
