This is a YouTube video titled "The key to being an effective leader #shorts" containing a monologue from March 31, 2023, where a speaker discusses the importance of self-leadership and personal accountability as foundational to leading others effectively. The speaker mentions team members by name but the content is a single-person reflection on leadership principles.
It all starts with me, though. If I don't show up for myself and go work out every single morning, when I wake up at six o', clock, I let myself down. And if I let myself down, how can I expect to lead other people? So it always starts with a constant leadership of myself first. So there's so much pressure. Which is good, though, because I have to lead myself first. Because if I'm not living it, how can I expect my team, for the agency to live right? How can I expect Nick on my team, Charlie on my team, you know, Israel on my team, all these guys to show up and then girls to actually show up and do their jobs and really take themselves seriously?
