This is a YouTube video titled "The Success Trap" containing a monologue or personal reflection recorded on August 3, 2025. The speaker discusses their mindset around financial goals, specifically the intention behind wanting to earn a million a month, revealing fears of inadequacy and the desire to serve others rather than just chasing numbers.
It's not that I don't want a million a month. It was the intention behind it. Okay? The intention that I had at that time of like a million a month. It was like, it was like, almost I have an attachment that if I didn't get it, I wouldn't be happy. That was the problem. My intention and the reason I wanted it was because I had a fear of, like, not being good enough if I didn't get it, or I had a fear of, like, I won't be happy and, like, if I don't hit these numbers. And that was the biggest problem. I realized it wasn't a matter of, like, I want a million a month because I want to impact this many people to be able to do that. Yeah, it was, I want a million a month because that's what people say I should do. It's just a rat race. Then, then it's 10 million, then it's 100. And I, I, I wanted to be able to come from a place of like, okay, if I'm going to do that, it's not going to be a million a month goal. Like, that's going to be the byproduct of serving this many people.
