If you think you're crushing it in the gym and you're lifting heavy weights, but then that same weekend, you're going out and getting wasted, drinking shots, champagne, all the hard work you put in the gym has gone to waste. You're just killing all your progress from that week. Seriously, when you go out and drink, alcohol is literally poison. And I used to drink it every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night when I was in college. That's all I did because that's all I knew how to do, because I was trying to just figure out what I wanted to do. But now, after completely eliminating alcohol, pretty much never drinking it ever, I've seen the most progress in the gym, the most business success I ever have, and the boast and best relationships I've ever had in my entire life, because I've eliminated it. One of the worst things you can do for your health is spend all that time working out yourself in the gym and then drink that weekend. I couldn't make any progress in college. I was overweight, inflamed, and I was like, bro, I'm lifting all this weight. But it was because I was drinking so much alcohol.
