Watch me teach 15 business owners how to spend thousands a day on paid ads

Brian Moncada and Brian Ford coach 15 business owners on scaling paid ads. They break down cost per lead, conversion rates, and pricing strategies for real estate and info product businesses, with live examples of ad campaign structures that spend thousands daily.
Beautiful. How you guys feeling? Good. Hypnotized. How was last night? Did you guys have fun? Yeah. So tonight we'll do dinner at in Little Havana. Who's been a Little Havana so far? Anybody? No. Okay, so you guys had the Brickell experience, right? Little Havana would be a whole different experience. So prepare yourselves now. It'll be fun, and that'll be a really good time. And then we'll have dinner from 7 and 9, and then 9 to 12 will be at the cigar lounge the entire night watching the UFC fights. So it'll be a good time. Today we have these topics left. I already had a few people talk about they wanted to learn. Specifically YouTube ads. We can dive into that. I know we still have to talk about sales team management. Why don't we start with paid ads and then we'll do sales team, because obviously you need ads to have leads and calls and then sales team, obviously to close them. Does that sound good to you guys? Then we'll do YouTube, organic, and then anything else in the second half of the day. Okay, paid ads. What are the. What are the questions around paid ads? What questions you guys have around paid ads, specifically, like Meta, YouTube or just in general cold traffic? You said a longer sales cycle. Yeah.
For me, anyway.
A very long.
Sales cycle from, like, by the time.
You get to close, you got to do a second call and that the other. And it's kind of like being okay with and spending that and then just.
Kind of like, is there an average. And what it should be? Is there a KPI there?
Or whatever, you know?
Okay, lead the purchase window. How do you think about deciding what.
Platforms to advertise on?
Great question.
Yeah. Okay. What else?
I want to see the back end campaign structure.
Yeah. Okay.
Yeah, I'd like to see what the structure looks like. You're producing that much content and that much radius. What does a structure look. Or have you just throw sh.
At the wall? Or is it like all structure, you.
Just throw shit at the wall?
Or do you have a structure you're aiming? When you throw.
You go general direction.
But do you test everything? Like one campaign? Do you like split them out?
Yeah, one campaign.
Usually one campaign.
Yeah. And then once you have converted traffic, then you create like a campaign that is like, for winning ads.
You, me.
So you have like a test campaign that. That's where you kind of just always test. If something don't work, you always leave it on. But then when it is working, well, depending on meta or YouTube. So meta you need.
Yeah, you create a bunch of different tests that blow and whichever one is.
Yeah. Then you go when there's like ABO and CBOs. I don't know familiar with that. So usually. Yeah, usually for testing, then CBO is more like you have a campaign and just a bunch of winning interests and adds in.
The main difference between ADO and CDO is abo, you are controlling the budget at the asset level. Instead of cp, you're controlling the budget at the computer level. So, you know, you have different.
I think. Are you guys asking ads questions over there as well? Talking about ads? No. Oh, okay. I. I think this is a good conversation. I was hearing you guys as well and probably good for. For what you guys were asking. We can go to lead a purchase after Jordan. But if you want to share close to what you were talking to Harvey about.
It's just the difference between an ABO and a cbo. But this is just for meta ads. You guys don't know what this is. Yeah, you know, it's not. It's not like new stuff.
Yeah.
Versus ad.
Let's explain it anyways.
It's fun.
No, just as a cbo, you put.
You're.
It's a campaign where you already have like things that are winning. So once you have once, like, you have like five ads that bought your conversion, you make a new campaign that is a cbo, which you control the budget at the campaign level. And that's how you scale to like a thousand, two thousand, three thousand dollars.
A day in the first set. You're testing which ad creative works the.
Best on an ABO that you just like. If you go to my ads manager, I have one campaign that has hundreds and hundreds of ads that I'm constantly testing about the testing frequency. Literally as much as possible. Usually 20% of the budget is all going to test.
So that's the question. When you got hundreds of ads, is it all underneath this one first?
This first big campaign with the multiple assets.
So how many credits do you put in at once?
At least three.
At least three.
At least three per asset. Correct. And then let the algorithm choose one. But what happen is sometimes that that budget sometimes just goes to one.
Yeah.
So like you.
You want to.
If you feel like the ad, it's going to be your conversion, you can just take off the one that is spent. You know, but there's so many different ways to do this.
So what you're saying is if you let the campaign level choose at first, it may choose it wrong.
So you give. Well, usually doesn't choose it wrong. Usually the algorithm knows why that one's gonna perform better, but sometimes I just want to test every single creator.
You just want to have more control of the budget of where the money is going.
Yeah, you'll get lower cost per lead.
If you do it all into the.
No, no, not really.
No. No. Are you saying you make 10 ads.
And you define 10, $10 each ad.
So you can see the true numbers and then you let them.
So it's just two methods. If you have the budget to do so, I would do it because I want to get each ad to at least spend cost per po. You get me? If I can know if it's working or not. But yeah, if you have a lower budget, you know, one ad set with three ads inside. Let's say 50 bucks a day. And whichever the algorithm chooses will you find the link, you duplicate it, and add it to the. Yeah, so I leave that one on. Don't ever touch it. Something works on YouTube or Facebook, don't touch it. Just leave it there. But if I have multiple winning creatives, it's when I create a CBO, and then I put that CBO at 500 1,000, $2,000 a day. So that's how you get to spend a shit ton of money per day.
So when you've got one winning one in that first campaign and you want to test and you realize the ones you want to turn off and you want to test other stuff against it, you put that in with the winning one already. Or do you separate that and just start something new? Where do you keep on adding, like.
You'Ve got in the other campaign that is just winning stuff? You gave me the cbo, the campaign that has all the winning creatives. I just keep dumping new creators. There are probably conversions into that campaign. So every month I have like three new that I'm just throwing it in there. Yeah, always. What about your target? It depends. So super broad.
Depends on the offer that you have, obviously.
But so when you. Let's say we're E Commerce for. We're gonna have ecom brands. So, like, you know, should we just.
Put like, Shopify or keyword go like.
So this is what I'll do. So if you guys are testing like a. Like, let's say you guys all join running a new campaign. Like, I'll do an ABO with three ad sets. One will be broad, one will be with stack interest, and one will be with look at like, audience. Do you guys know what all that means? So let's say if you're Testing a brand new creative. Right? You recorded 10 creatives, you create an ABO and you have one ad set where they say three ads but then you duplicate those ad sets and you have three ad sets. One is no interest or broad. So is what he's saying, one is for lookalikes and one is with stacked interest. That makes sense.
Yeah, yeah.
And then the interest you stack whatever just makes sense. Like if he's an E Commerce Shopify.
Amazon VA 10 creatives with three times you have 30 ads then.
No, no, let's say you have 10 creatives, let's just say three to keep it simple. You have three creative ones. One ad set that could be lookalike audience. You duplicate it. The other one is broad. You duplicate it.
Keep everything else the same. Like the creative, the copy, everything stays the same.
Which hard thing is the targeting.
The targeting. Because you don't want to test too many different variables all at the same time because you're not going to be able to understand which one has brought you the difference in conversion, whether it's good or bad.
So to answer your question, brother, test both broad and interest. For me. For some reason interest always hit for me. You know, like I have three interests that I have milk the crap of sometimes broad. It has higher ctr. As I was talking to Nathan yesterday when you mentioned it cut my leak by in half. In my experience when I use like AI stuff, yeah. I get higher ctr, more click through rate but it doesn't really correlate with half the cost per book call have to acquire.
Like I have to go through double the leads in order to get the same.
Yeah. So that's why I was curious to know. It's like, is it really affecting the actual KPIs because I don't really paying. I don't mind paying for $50 cost per lead lead if it's like really, really qualified.
Yeah. Are you filtering on the back end with your funnel? Because as long as your funnel is really aggressively filtered.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We disqualified 99 of the people, you.
Know, you're still bringing inside of your pixel, you know, unqualified leads that of course you can filter back and then with hires you can tag them and only send back the qualified ones. But like I just rather deal with.
Less people that send me their DQ leads still trigger the biggest.
No, no, no.
They go to a separate funnel. Right?
Yeah, yeah. They don't even get. Yeah. What I'm saying is sometimes higher CTR doesn't necessarily mean, you know, better quality leads. Just because so many people are clicking through it, and it's just a bunch of, like, people just clicking. So it's like. It's like almost like a 50, 50 type of balance. You got to find you have to have high flip. Yeah.
When you're given most of your ads.
Your cost per gol and span before.
You turn them off, I at least give it 3x of cost per book call or cost per car.
Wow.
Yeah. Like at first. Once before you have sales, you first optimize for cost per booked call, then you optimize for cost per acquisition.
Yeah.
So I'll let it spend some times. You know, sometimes if you really have some balls, you can spend as much as the cost of the program. You get me? So if you're selling off of 5k and you have like 10 ads, let them spend up to 5k. I know, it's like, that's like. Or well, just like. Well, not each Audi. Just like, give it enough budget so you know what the hell's going on. If you spend $5,000, you know you're gonna get close to it, you know, like maybe the top of leads or whatever. But I let it. I always try to let every ad set at least spend 2 or 3x of cost per call. And then I kind of know if it's working now because a lot of people just turn it off too early. That happens with our clients all the time. Oh, I spent $700. Nothing work. I'm like, bro, cost of acquires 2000. Like, what are you doing? You get me?
So, yeah, yeah, that's a good point, because it kind of goes back to your question, Ibrahim, as well. Like, what platform do you even start with? Right. And I think it really depends. On what? On your avatar. And also what platform you're already, you know, on right now. Because your main platform is Instagram, right? Instagram, YouTube. Which one's. Which one's more engaged for you? Is it YouTube or Instagram? Instagram. Yeah. And if I was you personally, I would start with Facebook ads. Facebook ads in general. Like, I. I know I'm really good at YouTube ads, but it's just so much more expensive. And Facebook ads can work a lot quicker for most people in general. So I would start with Facebook ads for you, and I would listen to what Javi and Clarissa were just saying, basically, and I would just start with remarketing to your Instagram users and everybody as well, and just go right to a VSL book, a call funnel, like, stupid simple. Maybe even just an application. Honestly, if you're just going to remarket to your Instagram audience and then start booking calls that way.
One thing that I do like about meta, the how quick I could get a sale. Because like, like we were talking about the other, about picture ads, like 78% of my budget. Just bullshit picture ads that are brand new. Yeah. And like I can make one right now, uploaded it and tomorrow I made.
A sale, you know.
Yeah. And for you, you have the AI setter. So you can even do VM campaigns with are going to be way easier if you've never run ads before. It's way easier set up than, you know, going directly to the funnel.
Yeah. Because you have a bunch of conversations right there.
Yeah.
And you have an up on the Saturday's AI that could do all that for you.
So when you run DM campaigns, you run that as a boosted from.
I mean you can, you can test sometimes. Like.
Are you familiar with that?
No. No.
Okay. So you set up an engagement campaign and then, you know, it allows you to set up like sending messages.
Yeah. They see an eye and they click send message and then send you a certain keyword and then you have a conversation. The reason why I like DM campaigns because you get cold traffic and they kind of get warm because you have a conversation with them. They check out your Instagram, they might check whatever the hell out and then they usually have good conversions.
It just has a long list technical stuff.
It's just hard to scale though. DM campaign is way hard to scale. It turns to a nightmare because all the settlers and stuff, I mean, AI I'm sure is going to fix that. But for us, when we're doing 300k per month, the worst thing was the setting.
Yeah.
Because somebody's acting like you and then the lead doesn't know that it's a setter. And if the setter is, you know, half hearted, then you, they think you're me and you're like. So finding somebody to train them to act like you was very, very difficult. You didn't have Nathan train your bot. No, no, no, no, no, no. Now I barely do DM campaigns now it's just straight to poker.
Call it a good step because at moment that's how we're driving traffic from organic through DMs. So that's for a stepping stone for me.
I think for every brand new marketer, DMs is the easiest because you actually see the lead. Sometimes when you're running a VSL funnel, it's hard to let go of the ads are not working because nobody's booked a call. But in DMs, you're constantly getting people to DM.
You get a faster feedback from the prospect itself, you know, because when you're running it straight to funnel, it could have been the funnel. That is not good enough. It could be the headline, it could be the bsl. It could be you have too many questions in the form, you know, like there's nobody really telling you that, you know, like, or saying something about it, you know, like with the DMS number one, you can judge the by its cover, you know, like go to the Instagram profile, okay, this guy doesn't like, it's not a business one or it's not my ideal avatar.
We call them crackheads.
You know, if it looks like a bot or something like that or whatever the case may be, you know, like him directly. See? And then just having the conversation. You can even tell the type of level of conversation that you're having and you understand if the lead is qualified or not.
Like DM ads.
Not for you. I don't think so.
Not for you.
This is most like info, product coaching, mentoring.
Yeah, Jordan, you just gotta follow the blueprint I've given you, bro. Yeah.
I would send a email so you go straight also to.
Yeah, B2B ads are way different than B2C. Like you B2B, you want to be as direct as possible. Right.
You don't need to have a conversation with them in order to buy.
Yeah, yeah.
That's why I was saying even for you, Bram, you just go straight to application if you want. Right. Like I think your ad can do the offer in itself to get them right to an application and then if they're qualified based off the qualification, you can just get them on a call right then and there.
What's your take on lead form campaigns versus going to a BSL for meta?
Depending on the offer and I don't.
Know, I prefer controlling my own data and not always relying on Facebook to then zap it back. I think it's better to just control your own thing because then if you think about it. Well, again, it depends if you're going B2B or B2C. I think B2C, they don't really care. B2B will care because they and out of step, you know, because you're going to be making them a lead form where they're going to answer like whatever X amount of questions, 1, 2, 3. And then they're going to go to a BSL where they're going to apply for another time or book a call, you know. So like it's an extra step.
But for bsc you I don't think.
They care as much.
Yeah, makes sense.
Okay.
Also depending on the team you have because if you're doing a lead funnel you need to like.
Yeah, call center.
Like the whole strategy that people just put in their information and you have a guy just all day. So depending let's say like if you have a life insurance company, that's usually how it goes. It's just a bunch of numbers and emails and people are just hammering.
Yeah, like finance it. Like finance companies quality type of thing. Yeah.
B2B is more like quality instead of volume. So it's depending on your offer for.
Like for info product.
What would you recommend?
Are you targeting someone that is starting. That is A.
Yes.
B or B2C.
B2C is real estate agent, right?
Yeah.
Maybe becoming a real estate agent.
Supplementary education for real estate agents to build it.
So they're already a real estate agent.
I would definitely try maybe a BSL because they get more information. You wonder that for that type of offer like you want them to understand who they're working with and who you do before they even give you information.
Yes. That's what I was discussing with Brian Ford. We host our platform on school.
Yeah.
Originally we had a DSL in between. Between the guy who's running our ads and sending to the school page. The thing with the school page is that is the VSL at the front page of school. Right. So do I remove that middle step in between just send them straight to the school page and just have a.
Is it working?
Not as well as no bsl. And sending straight to the school is working better than when we had the bsl but not as good as we'd like it to. Right. So that's kind of what we're trying to.
But what is the problem is that.
The cost is high to acquire or lack of conversion.
Right.
So we're not sure if we just, you know, got a shitty ad agency guy or if it's.
There's a lot of. A lot of shitty people out there. Is it for you guys?
It's a dollar 97amonth. That's. So that. That's the. That's the problem.
What is your cost to acquire them now?
Couldn't tell you right now because if you're going cold to $97 a month recurring, it's going to cost you, I mean probably 497, 500 to get a customer. And again it wasn't like that. Okay.
So for us for 97amonth it was costing us literally like 90 or 80. Then we bumped it up to 197 per month and it was costing like 205 but people were staying for six months so I didn't mind spending 200.
And those are existing credit repair business funding companies from cold traffic.
I only, my like I only probably spend 10 on retargeting. Like it's very low. I'm like I'm just old traffic, you know, just getting new people, new people to see us. Yeah, depends maybe on the offer. Maybe your guys. Maybe there's a lot of real estate people. So then the CAC is like a lot higher because you have competition that could be. Or maybe just. Yeah, the conversion just sucks. Like the BSL is not good.
You know what is it? What's the page?
So if you go to school.com Bam x Bamx Yep. I feel like in general just sending ads straight to a school page that is paid. It's really hard to get convert.
Yeah, I personally yeah it did work but.
And I tried both, I tried just a VSL and then once they purchase they go into the school and then I tried just sending them to school and they both work.
Yeah.
You know, so.
So this is our page and we're constantly tweaking it. We've identified a couple issues currently. Number one being we're trying because we have different ICPs on our content and we found success marking different content to different real estate agents at different sites of their business. When we're funneling them all into one education product. That's kind of what we're trying to square right now. So while the first page is the vsl, if you go to the second.
Slide this we saw a bump in.
Conversion because we were able to visually represent immediately everything you get inside the community. And it's a lot. So it's a double edged sword there because we pride ourselves on providing a lot of value in content.
That's a mistake.
But at the same time it's like are we diluting?
So I made the same mistake. So when you're selling low ticket you gotta solve one problem and like speak to solution needs to be as quick as possible. Because if you have so much stuff and you're solving them so many problems, then when you go sell your high ticket offer like well I'm not, I haven't even done whatever the hell I got this before. So like for school it should be literally like you're solving one thing it should be maybe 10 videos.
You know, the tip of our sphere, I would say, isn't the educational video. It's the templated content that we provide to agents on a weekly basis. And that goes for building their media brand.
Like this stuff right here, this template.
Yeah, exactly. Video scripts.
It could be the ads, maybe. I'm sorry, it could be the ads. That's why maybe the conversion is so high.
Yeah.
So right now, the guy in the first video there, that's our head of content.
If you're a real estate agent who is sick of feeling like you're just always behind on content, then this membership is for you. You see other agents posting daily, they're getting leads in their DMs and say they are on social media panels, they're showing off Oscar worthy listening videos. And meanwhile you're staring at a blank hand with 10pm trying to do everything from scratch, which makes it impossible to stay consistent. So we built something that flips this.
Entire problem on its head and that.
Is this membership in our Bamax community. All right, so I'm going to show.
You exactly how this works.
I'm just going to walk you through.
What I wish I had when I was literally a broke agent. So the second you join Mama Max, you get instant access to everything in our classroom. The first thing is. So it's basically just helping them create more content to get more leads.
Yeah, scripted, but like bullet points scripted and then freeform in between. Which is another thing is, you know, is a word for word script better? I mean, you know, real estate agents are good with scripts, but also sometimes.
Kind of for me, I think it's just the lack of the actual offer.
Yeah.
Like what's the tangible result they're going to get in a timeline that makes, that makes it worth it for them to join because it just comes back to like the principle. It's like, I'm going to pay 97amonth for this. When am I going to get my first client from it? How long is it going to take? And like that. I think that's, that's one thing that I'm already seeing is not in here. Really?
Yeah, speak to results, everything, especially for low, low ticket stuff.
Because like nobody really wants content. They want the result of the content, which is the clients. How many clients does it?
What's your training?
I can tell you right now it's low, but I'll give you a full number.
If he started this video or if you guys started this video, I'd Sorry, with if you're a real estate agent who is sick of feeling like you're just always behind on content. The dismembership. So it's like yeah, always behind on content, sure, for sure. But it's like if you're a real estate agent who's. Who's looking to add 5 to 10 extra new extra listings or whatever the is it listings or clients list, I mean listings.
Ideally you want to be on the sell side.
Okay. Like you have more leverage. You would know this industry better than me. But obviously whatever that tangible result is that they're looking to get from the content that they post more of. Right. Like that's the first sentence that you wouldn't want to. Want to be.
I feel like there's not enough pain in the beginning. And also like the ads are very important. Like for us, like we have very high click through rate. It was like the ads are probably the most important when it comes to low ticket because it's just how much volume can we get through this landing page.
And they were extremely simple. It was like a B roll video and just text and Tom got it.
Yeah, we're at just about 2% churn 2.05.
The majority of people are coming through warm though, right?
Warm through content and email traffic. That's our top funnel. We're trying to crack poll right now.
And the strategy is sending them to this page right now ideally. Okay, right.
And that's kind of what I'm here to figure out is sending them to a supplementary page like a vsl, a better thing where we can run sort of separate VSLs for different pain points. Like hey, if you're a zero to three year agent looking to make your first undergrad, if you're a veteran agent looking to grow their media, if you're a new agent looking to polish your sales skills. Because we through the templates do brand building but also because we have so many actual operators who have built businesses, we have objection handling courses and some call scripts and things like that. So is it running different ads at different pain points? Like that's kind of what we're trying to square.
You could do that, you could do that and then just find the biggest pain point and that's when you just blast it.
I think asking anybody recurring on the first sale is going to be tough, especially from cold traffic in my opinion. I mean I don't, out of all the clients I have right now, I don't have anybody who's running a $97 a month recurring at scale. That's usually Always either a BSL book a call funnel to a high ticket sales call for like a $500 program plus or they're selling a low ticket, like a $97 one time payment, you know, and then on the. Exactly on the back end they have VSL to book a call or upsells and otos where they can actually have you know, an AOV of 100 plus and it's costing them 50 bucks to get a client, you know.
Nathan, do you remember what was that like someone in AIDS lab was running like the TikTok famous or become like the TikTok famous doctor or dentist or influencer.
Yeah.
So I feel like that could have killed something like it because they don't really again care about the content. Like how do you use.
Become the authority they go to.
Everybody wants to be like the real estate guy in their market. So maybe adding something on batting like hey, you're gonna, we're gonna make you your content. Be the go to like a famous guy.
That's important. Sell the transformation.
Help helps establish clients.
Yeah, like start with the client stuff and we'll help you become the authority.
In your, in your area. Yeah, it's like chasing clients.
They chase you.
Yeah, exactly. Yeah.
Inbound conversion rate on this landing page because in school you can track your conversion, right?
Yeah, I'm looking. So our trial conversion rate is 39.62 and our overall conversion rate traffic in the last seven days is 67%.
You're running 39 conversion rates on a free trial.
Crank volume.
So run ads to the trial is what you're saying.
Well, if you're getting a 40% conversion rate on a landing page to a sign up for a program. Crank some volume.
How long is the trial? What's the conversion rate on the seven days?
39.62%.
So out of 40% of people are staying. And how long is the average ltv? How long does someone stay Google from the trial?
Like almost 2%.
What's your traffic conversion rate? Yeah, like traffic last seven days and then it says conversion rate. That's your landing page conversion.
Got it.
Trial conversion is like if they go through the trial, convert to it.
Yeah.
So once we're all conversion rate. Last time it's 67. So not.
Oh yeah, there, there. 40% on.
Yeah, that would have been a different conversation. So yeah, you're getting a 0.67g. So we're the pocket mostly. Yeah. Well it's. I figured you were obviously cold traffic.
Like running paid ads again.
We're just Trying to establish a paid ad speed set because for so long the brand was free organic content. If you go to our site nowband.com.
Oh, sorry.
This is our baby, right? Like this is what we built everything else around in terms of having to be that bar school model where we're providing information in a funny meme based.
Kind of like a blog type of. Yeah, exactly.
And then everything else kind of spins from that. The podcast and then the subscription tool is just kind of rev generation that we're looking to build out. Because so many people are like how.
Do you write your blog?
How do you, you know, I buy your swiper templates and the news based stuff.
So what's, what's the offer on the back end after the 97amonth?
We're still establishing it but it is at this point basically what you're running here.
Mid size group, just events and masterminds.
High ticket one too many consulting is our next thing that we're looking to build out. This might be too far fetched but I see a lot of people having success with just doing the free group. Because it sounds like you build it from organic, right?
A lot of this organic.
You have the free group and within the free group now you can charge per modules to unlock like low tickets. So you can just build that community, sell the trust.
And then if they want to unlock the templates and all those things, you.
Have low tickets for each of those and they have a back end membership. Yeah, so we have thought of that. But like to us our core value, like that's antithetical to what we do because so many other sites, like we being the tongue in cheek thing is like we're not going to sell two houses and then sell you a course kind of thing. Like we are providing as much information value packed into one entry point as possible so that we can be differentiated from the inmates and high ticket coaches who have never sold a home and stuff like that. Like we're trying to be a for the people product as much as possible. Wouldn't that justify to make it free first the free school I like, I don't necessarily like, I don't think that moduling it off after that would be. I would just say that it would go free to the full unlock, not free to the module.
Yeah, I think that makes sense. Yeah. Free free school community to this paid one where it has everything for them. The other option is you could just do like a 97 or a low ticket one of take one of these things. Whatever's the most valuable, sell that as a standalone product and then funnel them to the recurring. You'd have a way better shot at getting them in the recurring and having them stick once they get the consumption.
So like a standalone product, we get, you know, 30 days of Instagram templates that help you grow your 30 days.
Of Instagram templates that guarantee you at least, what, I don't know, 30 more. I don't know, whatever the claim you can make is that they want, like the transformation.
Why don't you do so high ticket? Like, why do you need a school community? What my point is, like, you're trying to solve this, but if you solve just the problem of high ticket, you'll be on a richer.
True. And that's definitely something that we've tossed around as a leadership team before. But we started as kind of the bloated real estate Facebook group. We are a media company first, not a product company first. And because of that, you know, maybe those two things are kind of in.
Conflict with each other.
But our thing that we always want to have is the community behind the plan. Less so than, you know, high ticket masterminds. We provide education to people as well.
Yeah, that's a really good point because I tested when I first launched the coaching program, I tested like a low ticket school group versus high ticket high tickets. Way more money every single year.
Yeah. And the energy that you put on fixing this, you put that energy into like a high ticket. You know, like, that happened to us for a time like, oh, you know, around the. When everybody was training the school community, I'm like, oh, let me do it too. And then I was putting my energy for six months into it. I'm like, what the am I doing? I charge 25 or 20k to work with me. Why am I charging people 97amonth? You get me. And I mean, it was cool because we're making like 30 grand a month without lifting a finger. But I was like, I mean, you.
Know, the time cost, the opportunity.
Yeah.
And you say without lifting a finger. But, like, there's maintenance, there's, there's people.
Build it. Yeah, build it.
You know, this thing is a ton of work to keep running. We have to have office hours. We have to answer.
You're basically doing a high ticket coaching program for a low ticket price.
Yeah, exactly.
It was the same thing I told Harvey, for example, right when you, when you first joined, it was like, you're doing the same amount of work as me, but I'm charging. You know, we're, you know, 15k.
Because higher ticket clients are less needy, that.
You make a very good. I think that was a great way to put high ticket coaching for a low ticket price.
Yeah, that's exactly what you're doing. And again, it's like going back to the offer here. You're giving them a bunch of stuff that's going to help them grow their business. So like they just need one or two clients from this to make the return. But like the problem is, is again to cold traffic you're going to need margin. Which goes back to like Jordan's question about the lead to purchase window. Like you need margin to be able to make it work. For example, the only low ticket community I ever scaled was Funk Roberts. This one right here, Alpha 40. I don't know if you guys have ever seen this guy over 40. Alpha brotherhood. It's a $1, it was a $1 trial for a $47 men's basically fat loss program, but it was costing us $97 to get a $1 trial purchase to cold traffic. However, it made sense because his average stick rate was about six months. So he was willing to go negative for, you know, a couple months. So he had balls obviously. But most, most people won't. Right. And so I was trying to convince him to go high ticket as well. He didn't want to do sales calls, he didn't want to do any of that stuff. So he said no. But that's the reality of doing a low ticket. Right Versus what we're saying here is. Yeah, I mean you're basically doing the same thing for 97 bucks. And like if you remember Bashar yesterday, he's like front and back, Mac in. Right. So you guys technically have the front end but you know, it's, you could easily convert this into a free group on. Yeah, yeah, release the content for free maybe. And then obviously make the coaching and consulting and the group and the community more of the emphasis and the paid.
And if also the whole point of the, of this itself is the impact that you're giving it to the client. I tell you that if it's high ticket, they're going to be taking the thing way more serious and actually do more of the work. At least now every time low ticket, the clients tend to like just have access to it. Watch if that. And then so if the whole core value to give the impact to the person, they probably take care of way more. And it doesn't have to be like, you know, 15, $20,000. If that's not like, you know, like within your guys'.
No, I mean that's right, you know, one too many group consulting. That's definitely how we would go about pricing structure. I do find it interesting the idea of basically changing that 97 to 0, releasing as much of this for free and then kind of have it be like the give, give, give, get.
Here's the thing that the whole thing about Rosie says this. Oh, give away the farm which I tried that and give it when the farm the capitates that high ticket offer. You get me. Because then people be like well why would I join your 10, 5000, $20,000 thing?
I haven't gone to the free stuff yet. You know. Yeah, I'll just go to the free stuff.
What you're pretty much teaching in the high ticket. It just video format and then they.
Have access to you on office hours that have weekly calls and all these things. So like why would I pay? Like the whole excuse of like also the high ticket, like oh, you get more access to us, you know. Yeah, you're really giving away majority of that accessibility in the low ticket there wouldn't be a point of like the, the high ticket.
It's an excellent point.
Okay, yeah. So like what I was going to say is like don't give away the farm, just try to like solve it. Yeah, just give, just give him the gate, you know, so just walk in and that, you know, it's just solving one thing, you know because if you can summon one thing, let's say like in three to seven days once that thing is solved, then you call them. Hey, so how did it go? Oh no, it went great. I got amazing results. The chances of them not buying the high ticket dramatically increases. Instead of buying something for 97, they've been there for like four or six months but they haven't done shipped because that's usually what happens.
Yeah, and so what I would do then is given you want to go high ticket model which obviously we're all recommending, I would then immediately start running YouTube ads and retarget everybody on your YouTube channel and send them to a VSL book. A call funnel, a template that we have for example would be like this is my funnel. Obviously it's very simple, direct offer. So you can see how our offer is a little bit more direct compared to yours. Tangible results. Script, edit, produce and set up your Facebook and YouTube ad accounts so you can sign X amount of clients per month. The VSL that's gated, once they click on it with the opt in phone number, get pricing and details it can be a little bit different for you. Mine's more obviously like super direct to people that are like very sophisticated, like you guys that all know marketing. And then obviously they go to the vsl, they can watch this. I have timestamps in here which reveal the price. So I actually reveal the price. I tell, I tell them it's 15K. You, you can do that. You don't have to do that. I think Jordan's at the point now where he's going to be doing that. He finally got to the point where he doesn't want to comb through shitty leads. So I just don't want to get on a call with someone who's not going to be ready to buy. My cost per acquisition for this was like 5 grand. But my, my ticket price is 15k so I'm still profitable and I'm also like on the back end recurring too. So on the application we, we asked.
Like you have at least 5k plus $100 you can ad spend per day.
Yeah.
Not like we get the queue.
Yeah. So literally my application is three questions. I had like 11 before and I was just like what are the three application questions that I know I need to hit? Are you this type of business, yes or no? If they said no, they don't even go to anything. It just stops. And then what's your current approximate monthly revenue? Less than 30k. It stops 30k to 100k or 100k plus they can go to the next thing and then this offers 15k for 3 months if we find this offer is the right fit for you. Can you afford paying this? Yes, I can afford this. Yes. I might need a payment plan. No, I cannot afford this. So they have to say yes to all three of those to be able to make it.
Yeah, we have it like that. And then plus you have at least $120 in daily ad budget because it's not just about paying us, it's also the ad.
Yeah.
Do you get website like details or.
Anything like that after this? No, I just get on a call with them. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then so going back. So what I would do is I would immediately set up your YouTube ads account. You can do this in like two seconds. You can do this today actually. And then I would go to tools. Just make sure you go to data manager. I would connect your YouTube channel which is right here for example. This is just one of my clients examples. He has 38,000 subscribers. Similar to you, he does like tax accounting and bookkeeping for like businesses that make A million dollars in profit. You would link your YouTube channel, right, like he does right here. And then you would go to your audience manager, which is right here. And then all you would do is create these audiences, YouTube users. So you would call this, like, subscribers. And then you would go to your YouTube channel, which I'll just use his, in this case, subscribe to a channel. And then I would just put 540 days to get the biggest list possible of all your subscribers. And I would just go down this list. Anyone who subscribed to your channel, anyone who's visited your channel page, anyone who's liked the video viewers, all of these. Create all these lists and then put.
Them and, sorry, you should segment based on the actions, each individual list.
Each is an individual audience. Yeah. And then you would basically create a campaign and you would put all of those audiences in that one campaign and put a budget of. If you're gonna do a book, a call funnel, put a budget of like $250 a day, so you can get at least one book call a day, potentially. And then you would just run ads to them immediately. And then once you start getting conversions there, you get some sales, then you can start slowly going to more broader audiences. You can upload lookalike audiences to YouTube ads. You can do a couple more things. This is why I would start, though. Okay.
No, that's been great. I really appreciate it. Thank you, everybody. Yeah, it's awesome.
Any more questions on the ads for you specifically?
Yeah, I mean, so I guess for us, I'm understanding, like, separating the product, segmenting it based on price, running the ads. And if you guys can just maybe take a look at our language. Obviously, the thing that we're looking to solve for on our screen landing page is the icp. But if there's anything, anybody, reason to call out right now, like, instant today that we could, you know, differentiate to kind of help this stick a little bit better.
Yeah, let's see if I can go here. Let's see if I can just go right here. It's like this language you're talking about.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I think it's just. For me, it just goes back to the offer. Right. Turn your content into real estate clients. So again, specific. Like, I learned this from Cole Gordon. I'm sure you guys have heard it. Well, 3s formula, specific person, specific problem, specific way. So, like, you have to have those three things. So who's the specific person? Real estate clients. Okay, great. What's the specific problem they have? Is it that they can't turn content into clients or is it that they don't have enough clients? Right. And then what's the specific way you solve that? Clearly it's helping them with their content. But how can you make it more tangible? How many clients do you get them in what time frame without risk reversal? Right. So that's what I would think about.
So hard enough on the outcome basically.
Exactly. Right.
I think maybe they don't know themselves that content is the issue. Their issue in their mind is just no clients.
Yeah.
Like it would be like if you don't, like you don't have any clients. Let me tell you the issues because of content, you know, it's a, of going like. I know it's because of content that you don't have clients.
Yeah. So for example, right. This is like a client of mine, his name's Boris. Look, just look at this offer, right. We'll legally save you 100+ thousand dollars in taxes in six weeks or less. If you're paying more than $300,000 plus in taxes, we guarantee we'll find $100,000 or more in tax savings or we won't take you on as a client. So it's very tangible, very specific guarantee which is a risk reversal. Very specific. If you're not someone who's making 300k plus in taxes or you know, obviously even have a business that's making anywhere close to be able to save even if you don't have a business making 100k plus you're not going to obviously click on this. So very specific.
And I would try landing page versus school.
Landing page for sure. Yeah. 100 for us.
There was a time that the school about me page was getting more conversions and then I don't know for some reason it's just ignorant the cost kick going higher and higher and I, I went back to just a normal landing page and then it was like around.
$90 and just even being able like I don't know your, your ability to how much they struggle. But I having everybody paying on school because long payments school. We'll be sending them messages and emails through them, you know to update the thing but it doesn't give you a notification. Yeah, you will have to manually go check, see who you know like and then go and message them. And then if you didn't capture the email before then now next you know like you have to go look for the email, look for their phone number, go search them up onto your go ahead level whatever CRM you're using.
Yeah, yeah, we did it with Slack after that with the landing page. So we get like every day don't.
Necessarily have a link to send them like hey like look, this is the link to update your credit card payment. You know like you have to.
Because it's all internal for them.
Yeah it's internal to school.
It was a nightmare.
And they can cancel without text.
You can't use Jordan's unsubscribe type of funnel. Yeah unsubscribe to the payment funnel 100.
Like I mean they have a built in thing. Yeah there's a video that comes out but that's about it. Like you only have a video and you have a limited amount of text and you can put in the before unsubscribe page on school. So I found that it was way better for me to have it to have it done outside. We also implemented a credit system for you it doesn't really matter because you have a good churn but we have a credit system so each kind of like audible that each month they payment they had to stay and they could unlock a new module. So for us when you have X amount of numbers or things we could.
See and everything goes along.
Being able to automate that system inside of school building impossible.
And just so I'm making sure that I'm understanding everything succinctly that you guys are sharing here. If we separate landing pages into individual products. Right. Is it still a book of cult Like I'm trying to differentiate.
That would be different. That would be like a sales page.
That would just be like a normal sales page.
One click. Yeah, like order form on the sales page. Basically.
If you want to stay with a low ticket it maybe you can find like the different type of pain points that your clients might have and then just try each funnel hvsl see what works and then just stick with that.
Got it.
So it's just a lot of testing at this point to see which one.
Is always all about testing. It's always about testing. The biggest difference between the win is I forgot his name. This guy was saying yesterday. Oh yeah, yeah that like the top of advertiser just crew like the test 11x more than. Oh it was Nathan. Yeah.
And landing pages you can split tests you can split.
And for the landing pages one of the most important thing is not even the BSL it's the headlines. So like it's hard to do that with.
Because the problem is is like this. This could work if you just retargeted your YouTube channel. Potentially it's going to Cost you a lot. But then, like, when you go cold, you're just going to be wasting money. Like, it's going to be so hard to make it work.
Got it.
So these are all, like, the foundational pieces you need to be able to get it to be profitable first and foremost and then be able to scale it.
Awesome.
Yeah, thanks so much, everyone. I really appreciate it. Really. Thank you.
When you split testing the landing page headlines and stuff like that, how long, how much traffic do you drive through it?
At least a thousand people to see it, at least, minimum. But the more the better.
And from day one, you said you split test that from day one against two. Two.
Or would you run?
Yeah, I go right away with the headlines.
Yeah. I mean, if you're starting brand new and you have two headlines that you think they might convert. Yeah, try. But if you already have one, you think it's good. One really cool thing is you can chatgpt with it, like, hey, this my headline. With this conversion, can you write me a better or higher conversion? You know, variation? Like if you're running out of ideas and then you can expect those the ones which I gave you. But the headlines are super important.
Luke.
Yeah, everybody does everything else but the headline. It's crazy.
Brian, I love your guarantee I'll do X and Y days or I won't take you on as a client. I like that. Because that's. You're not promising to work for free until you do.
You just won't take on the client.
I like that. My question for you on that bsl, you have three questions. Can you go over those three questions again? It was just. Are you a specific business? Yeah. Are you willing to spend a hundred dollars? Are you this type of business, what's your current. What's your current monthly revenue? And I give them three options, and then the least option they can't go through. And then there's two ones that are just like where they are. And then the third one is, yeah, this offer is $15,000 for three months. Can you afford paying this? Yeah.
You never work with like somebody who's making like 10k a month.
No, we have. But again, like, the success rate is harder. Exactly. After doing it. I was just also, like you said, right. They have to pay me 15. They also have to spend.
That's what happens where our new business.
Owner clients, they have to spend money on ads.
Yeah.
So Exactly. So like even on a three payment plan for us, it's like, it's still. It's just. I realize it's like and plus plus it's like, I just think about it logically. It's like, should they even be running ads? Like I think you can get to 100k a month potentially without ads. Right. If you just really do good job on organic and referrals. So it's like you need to have the cash flow to be able to do it. So I just think about the businesses that are going to be the best fit for me now because I'm not trying to chase like the 10k, 20k clients. It's like I want them to get results.
Yeah.
So that's why I say that.
What's the decision on the gated vsl?
Well, it's just setter. Like if I didn't have a setter, I wouldn't, I wouldn't, I would just go straight to this. Right. But like if you have an opt in page then you should have a setter. Like that's the whole point of having an opt in page because then you just have more leads and then they can call them. So the whole point of opt in page is like because you have, you want to collect leads and you want to have a setter calling them. But if you don't have a setter, you can just go straight to the VSL.
And then one more thing too. With your YouTube ad that you're running under the client's main YouTube.
Yeah, yeah, I used to do the second channel.
Yeah. My YouTube guy is like really against that.
Is he a YouTube organic growth guy? Yeah, that's why they. Yeah, no, he just. No, dude, I've. I can show you all the clients. I've ran ads from Brandon Carter, Charlie Morgan, like all of their. I have a case study on that. It's just, it grows their channel because if you think about it, right, you're showing up as a suggested video now on the YouTube platform through an ad. So they're going to click on that video. It's going to take them to your main channel. They can also, like Javi was saying, instead of Instagram, they can go to your channel page and they can watch your content. If you're going through a second channel, you don't have any content there. It looks weird.
And I'm curious too because recently I've been viewing all YouTube videos as my PSLS. Like I embed my VSLs as YouTube videos for like retargeting.
Yeah.
Curious why I don't want you.
Presley actually mentioned that in New York for the thank you page video. I've personally never ran A VSL as a. I like Wistia for this reason because number one, I like to see the metrics. Plus I also get the timestamps. I have the. The thank you page as a YouTube video. So if they go to the thank you page after booking a call and I learned this from Presley, if they click on that thank you page video and they watch it and the next time they're on YouTube they start getting suggested my videos. So before the call they're getting more impressions.
Some of our clients on YouTube, what we did was which has worked a.
Lot.
We put their VSL on YouTube as an unlisted video and it's the end screen video of all videos. So all of your organic videos have an end screen.
It's like the Iman G. Like every video he has points to the unlisted vsl.
Everything. Every time they watch one of your organic videos, it takes them to a VSL which is on this tool.
Yeah, I think Ibrahim, you had your question, you had your hand raised.
I'll just do just a quick one.
When you set about having the gated.
Vsl, how much of your success comes from a setup?
Honestly, the best results I ever got were with direct application. I didn't have a setter at all for that. So I mean it just depends on how far you want to scale. Right. But the setter actually can book you an extra 10 to 12 calls potentially per month, depending on how many leads. So just depends. Both work. I mean. Yeah, I mean both can work. If I wanted to scale to a million a month, I would have a setter and an opt in page for sure.
You get higher show up rates too.
Yeah.
Like as soon as they book the call and then you walk up to the next step. Say, by the way, you're gonna get 20 different videos or emails or tags about X, Y and Z. So you tell them where the word what's going to happen next before the call.
And Harvard, I think you were asking about the script for this. Like the script is literally like when someone opts in, the setter calls them immediately and says, hey, this is Daniel with adspin.com the reason for the call. I saw you just entered your information to learn more about how we can help you scale with YouTube ads. He might have asked you a few questions to learn more about your business and potentially send you some more resources that might be able to help you before the call. Right. Or whatever. Right. It's like literally then it goes into discovery. So it's got to be careful.
Your seller doesn't go into sales mode because the person's going to be asking what's the price and what you gotta. Hey, I'm not here. I'm just here to verify the application making sure that.
Yeah, making sure it's a good fit. Learn more about the business. I don't want to waste your time.
Them obviously you just picked up some of the phone numbers.
Right.
I just want to verify your email because I will be sending you some more information so you can do your due diligence and ask together. So it's more so of them having a touch with you knowing that you're going to be sending them more information so that they can do their due diligence and verifying their information. A lot of the times it happens that they either typo the email know or did you something, you know, cool.
Before you jump off.
Is any pre tested like AI as a setup?
At least I think you're doing that right now. Ibram, right? Yeah, yeah.
We're just literally just set it up like this week, play around and test a bit. I just put my first call with an AI I seen come in with an AI set up today. About two days ago.
Three days ago. Right. Really? Yeah.
I would test vapi or. Yeah, but you turn off because go high levels.
The reason I looked at that, the.
Reason I looked at the GOA level.
One is because we set up like items. I want something that's not too complex.
And you can integrate sales AI with go high level.
And do I have clients doing AI out.
All of them integrate with gho.
Yeah.
And they'll do all for you on clients that you like because you'll see one appointed book.
But you also want to consider all those calls that don't get booked. So we have a filter that every call above 60 seconds goes into a slack channel and it gets automatically flagged. If it's, you know, picking up that it didn't, it screwed up in some way or another. The AI said something ridiculous and somebody hung up early, got frustrated because you also want to, you know, have those key components in that it's like AI.
Score your AI calls that fault?
Yeah.
It's like if Tesla's driving down the road. Like Tesla doesn't optimize their full self driving when you're just cruising down the highway and everything's working. They optimize our self driving when you have to grab the steering wheel and override the AI. So those are the data points that we want to look at is when we have to override the AI.
So would it say anything that be in retail?
Yeah.
And you were saying that they call base over text based like sales a.
Force 80% of our appointments for us and our clients come through from calls.
And is are you letting the cat.
Die that it's an AI?
Hey, this is Jim, I'm an AI caller.
We gonna say it if they ask? If they ask, we'll tell them. But 80% of people probably won't even notice and the other 20% don't care. They think it's pretty cool.
Cool.
Okay. How is the AI making your voice.
And your invitations or is it just. Yeah, you can do your voice, but I wouldn't do your voice. It'll be a lot choppier. It'll be a lot. Yeah, it'll break. Versus one of their previous been tested voices will be way smoother.
Yeah.
If you're running for uk, you probably want uk.
Yeah, sure.
Which system are you using for AI.
Or what do you use? Abraham, do you use, do you use go high level? Any chat? Okay.
I just found the out the box.
Good human conversation to speak how I actually speak.
And you just be gotcha. If it's like, oh, so it's your voice.
Well, we're doing it over text.
Okay. How much you have to train your AI system to get like a good output?
It depends on how much time you.
Spend on the conditional logic of the workflows essentially. Because when you set up the AI callers, you're going to have conditional logic. So when they say this question, if they answer yes, then it goes down this route. No, it goes down this route tree. So if you spend some time setting it up and you figure out all that big question from the beginning, you clean up the knowledge base for your AI, it usually runs really well around.
So it's like basically a decision tree.
Yeah, exactly.
And so with that being recal, I think a point where I said is like, I feel like the most consumer friendly one. Can you like adjust the tonality and the sales intent?
That kind of stuff can make it.
Aggressive like buy or die or you can make it a little bit more relaxed. Right. For our clients, if it's a medical tech desk, they're not going to be like, you know, on a scale of 1 to 10, how this thing feel.
Set everything else aside.
Set aside. But if it's a B2B setter.
I think Jordan, you're asking about like lead to purchase window, right? I mean, honestly, dude, we just have this already in the academy. I can go through it with you if you want. But this is already. If this is already inside the. The Mastermind content portal.
Cool.
Yeah, just, I mean I literally have the SOP for you because you're already in the Mastermind. So I'll send it to you. All right. Okay. What else on ads we went through sales cycle platform. What if you want to test it?
Way more creative. I know you mentioned like doing like.
Three ads instead of a month to test like 10 creatives, you put them.
All in there or do you just.
Have more ad sets?
Also depends what is the cost per result and what is your daily budget?
Let's say if you're like, let's say.
Daily budget's like 200. Like let's say $250 per ad set.
No total.
Yeah, it depends. Cuz let's say if you have three ads in there and the cost per result is, let's say 50 bucks, but then you're only spending 50 bucks a day, then you're not letting enough budget to go through all three of them. So it also depends what is your cost per result. So you can at least like put a 3x of cost per result. So get all ads to spend.
Yeah, so yeah, yeah, your budget determines how, how much you can actually test. Because like we talked about, Jordan, your average cost per call is already, you know, pretty high.
So what is it like 700. But is that cost per qualified or just copperable call not including no shows?
No, that's cost per qualified. Yeah, because he's targeting a D2C brand. Who's making.
What is the offer price?
The setup offers 10. The setup offers 10K, right? Yeah. Or referring is 5K.
And what is your cost to report? We've only had one person come through.
An ad so far, so it's. Well, a lot of it was tested, but like 5K.
Yeah. So that's a lot of people make that mistake. They think since let's say you spend like seven grand in testing, they think the cost requires seven grand. But you gotta look at the actual ad set. How much dispense I sometimes the astronauts can spend 300, 400.
So the adject where it come through. You mean like so.
Yeah, yeah, because sometimes.
Yeah, because the other tests, you know.
Yeah, yeah. They're testing so much, they're like, oh, I spent seven grand, only one conversion. And they're like, you know, my cost requires seven grand. But in reality it's one asset and one ad and maybe spend 50 bucks. But they're looking at the whole campaign thinking, oh, like my cost of acquire seven grand. But you know, your test budget, it's not the same as you know, getting a results and you're testing.
Brian, a fifth thing we haven't talked much about SEO and what Sean does. If we have time for another subject, I'd love to hear more about what Sean does. SEO.
It's like completely different what you guys do, but it's cool.
Helps influence everything else. Good on ads.
Wait, I've.
I have one more question too. Can you break down a little bit more of your thank you page and a little brief touch on like the hammer them strategy?
Sure.
Because that's what I'm trying to dial in specifically on the hammer them strategy at the campaign level. How are you setting that up in Facebook ads? Is it like, like four to five dollars and then match a bunch of different ad sets.
So.
So it funnels each of the budget into like one ad per ad set. So you know that each one of those ads gets seen.
Do you do like 3 seconds or 5 seconds? So they said the retargeting campaign, somebody opens their phone up and book the call with you to see the first like you know, objection or whatever you put it that everybody who's seeing the ad for three seconds gets disqualified so that they get the next video and the next video and the next video. Yeah, that makes sense.
Interesting.
So you use this. Exclude the people who already watch it. So next time they open the phone, it's another video of the Q A objection. Prevention and the budget should be depending if you're getting more than 100 calls per month, it should maybe be like 30 to 20 bucks. So look at every 100 calls. Raise it by like 30 or 50 bucks. You get me?
Yeah.
Yeah.
It only works if you're getting more than 100 calls. Maybe 7 to 100.
So campaign ones and yeah, you need to get. You need to have like at least 100 calls. Yeah, per month.
Per month, exactly. Another campaign won't stand up. Does it have enough data to retarget?
Yeah.
Here's how you're setting it up at the ads level to get it to go 35 second views and then it goes.
It just this, this glue this audience.
Right under there's a little button. It says exclude. Yeah, you can add.
Oh, the preview. So like each video that you have in a propaganda ads is like its own separate little.
Yeah, yeah.
So it's just a campaign just like for me it's like called the hammer them campaign. You get me? And it's just.
Yeah, it's its own Campaign.
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Yeah. I'll pull it up so I can show you as well.
Depends on the spend. What's the minimum spend you want to test on something?
Depending on the offer price.
So you got 6k offer.
I would try to spend close to like testing wise. I will probably spend our cost of the offer and how much per day?
I'm sorry, how much per day we sell. So you put aside the cost per.
6K, how much you want to spend per day? Depending. Whatever you want, you know.
Minimal.
Yeah, that's like the minimal. If you're spending 20 bucks a day.
It's like she want to see a thank you. You want to see the thank you page, Nathan? Thank you page.
Yeah, absolutely.
Okay, so thank you page. Quick video, simple. Add the, add the. This thing. Then I have the, then I have the YouTube ads master class. This is the webinar I did that converted really well. So I put my actual full webinar on here as well. Which if they go through this, it also drops like, like it basically tells them everything they need before they can book a call. Like it basically tells them the entire offer. And then.
So for step two, if I run direct.
Yeah, I, I like it could be the same thing. Yeah, you could replace webinar with YouTube video. Whatever you want, whatever video is going to help them get further indoctrinated with you and your process. And then step three, again, testimonials, very simple there. And then step four is frequently asked questions. So again, will YouTube ads work for me? What's the time commitment? How much do I need to spend? What results can I expect? What happens? Yeah, I mean you can use loom. You can use. Yeah, all of them are.
No, I'm just saying like the fact that you put a explainer video rather than like a canned text response.
Yeah. So what I did was I have a Claude project, basically where I took the, the hammer them template that Jeremy Haynes put out inside of his mastermind, because I'm a part of his mastermind as well. And then I basically just took all of my Fathom recordings like you said. I put them all the transcriptions in the cloud project. And then I had the cloud project give me the top 10 questions or objections basically. And then I basically these were the ones. Will you two gods work for me and my business specifically? And then this one's just literally me going through a very brief explanation of how YouTube ads as a platform can work for most businesses. What's the time commitment? I show them the actual 16 week journey. How much do I need to spend? I show them the actual budget calculator, the ROI projection. What results can I expect? I show them, you know, different businesses that had different price points in different niches. What happens if it doesn't work? And I'm very real. It's like work is relevant, like it's subjective. Leads are going to be coming through, you know, calls, obviously sales are, you know, depending what makes ad spend unique. I show them, I think my refund rate, my chargeback rate, a bunch of other things as well. Why do YouTube ads work so well? Why should I do this now? Do I need a big YouTube channel to get results with YouTube ads? Will YouTube ads hurt my organic channel's growth? Can you still help me if my business is in like Arabic? Is this done with you or is this done for you? And then I just go through more trustpilot reviews. This is your thank you page. Thank you page. Yeah. And then so now on the email sequences, if I go to my hammer them. Email sequences. And this is all an activecampaign. So once they, once they actually book a call, not only are they get sent to this page, but then they're also getting on active campaign where they get hit immediately with these, you know, basically videos in email format. So addressing the real objections. And I tell them in the first email, over the next 72 hours, you'll be getting a number of different emails from me answering the most frequently asked questions we get from potential clients. Clients so that you can have an easier time doing your research and due diligence. And I just go into the, the biggest one. You know, you've probably tried Facebook ads, You've probably tried YouTube ads before. You've worked with agencies that disappeared, brought courses that left you hanging, watch Competitors struggle with YouTube, yada, yada, yada. No, no, first email, I'm only linking one video. Yeah, yeah.
And your setup tells it. By the way, I'm not about to send you just like, yeah, I'm about to be really annoying, you know.
Yeah, we want to make sure you're taking care of, you got all your questions answered. So that way when someone books a call after someone, if you've booked, if you go to my funnel and you try to book a call, you, you actually book a call on the calendar. You'll get these emails, you'll, you'll get all this.
What's the frequency of the email that you're sending?
I think it's every three hours. Every three hours? Yeah.
Just no matter what.
Yeah. I'm pretty Sure. I might have put like a split in there recently with I think I moved to like a block of like six hours. But it's basically, I mean I can pull up active campaign and somewhere in.
The middle say are you alive?
Yeah. We implement the add in text messages in between the emails too. And each text message basically brings up.
The email before this dramatically increases stroke rate and closing rate. They just come like to the call.
And it reduce the amount of time that the closer has been done.
Oh yeah, we'd be closing people in 20 minutes for like 15K.
Yeah. So like email one and then it waits 30 minutes. So yeah, actually it's a little bit quicker. I send them basically three emails in the first hour or two and then you can see 59 open rate, 56 open rate, 57 open rate. So they open all of them. I mean half of them open all of them. How many people are using constant contact versus go high level constant. Who's constant contact?
I mean who uses.
I've never even heard of constant content. Who doesn't have an email?
No, I do send these emails out but I don't have like what Brian does it the same. Yeah, yeah, but I do have those.
So first couple emails, like first three emails or 30 minutes after each other.
Yeah, but I mean I think, I think you can do them every three hours. Honestly. I think I, I honestly over optimized it. I think I just every, just to keep it simple. Every three hours. Typically they book calls 24 hours, 48 hours exactly. So yeah, I mean that's why I thought too. I was like okay, let me just shove it down their throat right now.
Yeah, 16 to 18 is a good, you know or depending how many objections or questions you have in your office.
How many 16 to 18 objection emails.
I have a, I have 15. But you can do up to 18.
Yeah, I mean get all your sales calls, upload them into whatever. Like what are the freaking.
I mean these, these are 15 emails I'm sending them but they're also getting three from Calendly too. So it's like in, in total it's 18. So I, that's why I kept it 15 personally and because I knew they were getting three from Calendly.
And when you said you text them in between, you just do that through academy information text.
No it's not. So inside of Gohan level we created the flow. So it's just in between the emails.
Now and what's the text like pushing them towards the email to see they watch both.
So some will Be like, oh, two minutes in email where I talk about the price objection. Right. Like oh, how much is this? Or blah, blah, blah. I bet the next question you probably have is the market to saturated. I don't want you to stay with that doubt. I just made, I made a YouTube video where I explained that.
Yeah. So all this starts with like I don't know if you guys have any. I think I've showed you guys plenty of this. If you're on the mastermind calls every single week. But you just need like a spreadsheet that looks like this. It's like all of our sales calls over the last. I mean there's hundreds of them and I just have the pain points, desired outcome, objections, call recordings, transcripts. This is where you just upload the cloud, right? Just got to have a spreadsheet with all these. You upload the Claude, you get the calls, you have Claude write the emails for you. These become your emails that you send them before the call with you and it's all just done like it's just. And then I link a video and every single thing that makes sense. So they're getting emails, they're getting texts, they're getting calls from the setter as well. And like all these things are just going to contribute to having them be more obviously in trust with you. So even for you, Abraham, with you, like hypnotism, right. Like I think you've been posting a lot more content on your Instagram of like questions people have around it. Like this could be perfect for you. Once you have obviously a book, a.
Call funnel and if you're running ads on meta, those same videos are.
Oh yeah, next time they open their.
Phone they're seeing that video and then next time they open the phone, it's the next video. Yeah, you know, and it's just like we're on how them.
As an ad. But it's a piece of content.
It's the only people who book the call with you. It's like a retargeting campaign that that all the emails and texts we send them, they also get the retargeting ads and only the people who book calls seen it.
And at that point what you can do is kind of like the booster, but you don't. There's a proper way of boosting that. You're not doing it from the app, you can do it from inside of the app manager so you can control it. So basically at the app level, instead of putting pre new ad put use existing post, your Instagram is connected so you're technically boosting that content and then you put the targeting of that. So what they get hit on is one of your videos that you already posted.
Yeah. So they're also getting remarketing with these, which is Facebook. So it's just me showing them a piece of content. Like this is like a Tai Lopez clip with when he interviewed me for his podcast that they're getting also remarketed to in between them booking the call and actually showing up to the call. So it's like emails.
Yeah. See right there?
Yeah. Email, text call from Setter and then the ads.
How do you choose the order of the video? Because it's a little bit different because you're also having like framing.
Yeah. I mean you don't really choose which.
One they see first, to be honest. But that's how you do the three second thing. So like it's always a new one every time.
Yeah. So if someone just watches three seconds of this, they're automatically going to be excluded from ever seeing it again and they see the next one. The next one. So you don't really get to pick.
Yeah, that's a good question. I. I wish there could be an.
Order like a sequencing. Yeah.
Cool.
It would be the same sequence, you know. Yeah. Yeah. Was this helpful? Very.
And usually do it from like you can both ask questions to, you know, from emails and text. Like what is the most asked question? You know, that's like the one you start with. The guy's going to have the highest opening rate engagement.
What's your frequency of text message?
Text messages? You mean like from AI?
No, I mean like your emails are like 30 minutes.
I think it's the same. I mean, but do you also have. You guys had. Also have your closer, whoever's got the call booked on their calendar. I don't think a lot of people do this, but are you guys sending the selfie video to them? Yeah. So that's another thing that's. That's probably the. All this stuff is great, but like the selfie video from a closer that gets to show up. Right.
We see that with our agents a lot. Like we have more like a prospective listing appointment on Zoo if they send.
Them like a bomb bomb or something like that. Yeah.
Looking forward to it.
And it worked for you, Jordan, when you started using. He's not even listening. But especially for B2B. It's just the. I actually show you. I think I posted in the Mastermind channel.
Yeah. How we did it. We had a part of things thank you page. You know like, hey, you're going to be speaking to this person and like almost like introduction period.
Yeah, let's see if I can find it real quick for the selfie.
I think it's actually pretty cool, you know.
Yeah, let me, let me just see if I can find schedule too. So it'll send that something.
Yeah, yeah. Depending if you have a big team of closers, you know, you can automate each person. But yeah, if you can have an introduction period between the founder and the closer, that's huge.
Yeah.
Is there like video of the closer on that page as well?
Yeah, I mean I like what Brian was saying that the clip.
Ours wasn't automated. I mean again, like I think you, you could get automated to that point for sure. But we just, I just had my closer do it manually. So like here's an example what we were doing. This is again, once someone books a call on their calendar, they're trying to do this as quickly as possible and all the stuff we just showed you is already happening in the background. Plus they're getting this directly to their phone.
Plus the propaganda.
Plus. Yeah, plus the propaganda stuff. This is a personal outreach though.
Hey there, Mark. This is Spencer here from adspend.com.
Just wanted to step outside, get some.
Fresh air and also film this quick video for you. Very eager for our call and leave.
You booked in to see how we.
Can help you potentially scale with YouTube.
Ads this Friday at I believe 12pm EST. So just confirm on time if that.
Is all good for you.
All I need is a thumbs up.
I'm out here in snowy Vancouver, so wondering if you have some snow as well.
We can cover basically all the ground we need to on our Friday call.
Really just need that confirmation for you. Want to make sure this is a efficient call but also valuable for you.
As much as possible.
So hope you're having a great week. Take care.
Look forward to speaking on Friday.
Cheers.
I can't remember I heard do this because what I've been doing recently, I don't know if it's better or not. I've not tested it enough. But instead of saying confirm the call, you say confirm you've got the zoom.
Link for the call. Okay.
Because you're giving them the option then say, hey, as it happened, I don't want the call anymore. I see someone online saying I can't.
Remember who it was.
I mean probably, it's probably nuanced though. I mean just confirm the call, you know what I'm saying?
But yeah, you send the emails with the videos for the FAQ videos, are you linking those videos back to the thank you page or are you sending.
Them to the actual. Yeah, individual videos, ideally on my YouTube channel. So some of them are on the YouTube channel. Some of them, I don't ever send them back to the thank you page. Yeah, yeah. I send them to specific videos after they opt in or they book a call. No, I prefer to send it to my YouTube channel. Yeah, yeah. Or like a specific landing page with a testimonial. Like a testimony. Like there's a wall of testimonials.
Your FAQ videos are unlisted videos on your YouTube channel.
That as well. Yeah, yeah. And on Wistia for the thank you page.
Why are you doing the.
The FAQs on the thank you page, not on the VSL? They are on the VSL. So they're just both places. Yeah, 100%. So if you go to like all these questions are already answered in the VSL as well. Like. Yeah, because some people just don't consume the vsl. Like all the questions that are all that are on the thank you page, I answer them at these specific timestamps. So by the time they get to.
You, they're already pre sold.
They're meeting, they know it's 15k. They know how the process works, they know the timeline, they know the results they can expect, they know the case studies, they know the roas and the budget. Like all the questions, like, look, expected ROI and results, that's the first thing I talk about.
So your cost per call is high.
But your close rate should be amazing. That's the whole point. I don't want to get on a call with someone who's not going to be willing to buy. Like I'm just going to waste time. How can you expect to see results? Aroa's calculator, how our system works, what you get pricing, More questions again, you know, like if I was a sales focused guy, I just realized I'm a better marketer than I am sales. And like my best clients, they're already pre sold on me. So how do I just, you know, it's like with you, like it was an easy sale. Like I didn't need to have a call with you. We just sent a few voice messages. Those are the best clients. So how can I become, how can I get more people to become my best clients? I just flood them with all this stuff. So. Yeah.
Can I ask you one more question with you? Right now we're in Facebook ads. We're doing 10, 15k a month on Facebook ads. When should we make the decision to go multi platform and add YouTube?
I mean that's, that's a good question. You can max out Facebook pretty, pretty far. I mean I think at least you got to spend at least 30k a month minimum before you even think about switching platforms. That's what we did. We were able to run both platforms, YouTube and Facebook around 30k plus once we got to 30k on Facebook you're.
Just like hey, run Facebook and tell you burn it out versus Well I.
I also, I also don't think like I need a, I mean like Bashar, you know, one, one platform, one focus, one this. Yeah, but it's like I also want to be as omnipresent as possible. So I'll run Facebook and YouTube at the same time because I know my clients are on both.
I guess what he was saying in the S club. But isn't it so starting one?
Yeah, start with one and then add later. But I prefer like, I mean like I just want to be omnipresent everywhere. So I'll run YouTube and I'll run Facebook to the same VSL, same everything. And I'll also remarket them on both platforms.
What's the minimum budget I would need in a month for YouTube ads to get started?
Yeah, and you're just going to have to spend more. So I mean how much are you spending on Facebook right now? 10 to 15. Yeah. And your offer is how much 4K I would spend, I would be willing to spend at least 10. Yeah. So I don't know if it makes sense. How big is your YouTube channel?
It's growing, it's getting deals. We have non video film ready to rock and roll.
Well, your target audience is out as agency owners, right? Yeah. Okay. Well yeah, that, that they're all over YouTube, dude. Like.
Yeah, that's why.
Yeah.
And the people that consume YouTube content are so much more engaged.
Yeah, it goes back to TAM too. Like YouTube's a great scam scaling platform. If you've already proven the concept on Facebook, it can scale. It depends on the TAM though, obviously. Well, if anything I would just do remarketing campaigns like I was telling Bobby, you know, like just link your YouTube channel set up remarketing to your YouTube channel set up remarketing to your web. Let's see how many, let's see how much. If you have over a thousand people that have watched your videos, which it looks like you do. Yeah. You can remarket to your YouTube video view viewers, you won't Be able to remarket to your subscribers, because you need at least a thousand of those. So you can definitely do video viewer retargeting. So anyway. Yeah, you could. Yeah. And then as it grows, it'll just get bigger and bigger.
So start depending on the level you are. It's good to have multiple planning positions.
Because, like, what happens get bigger and bigger.
So start depending on the level you are. It's good to have multiple planning positions because, like, what happened to us, like, a couple months ago is that at our peak, like, doing 300k per month, a bunch of employees. I think it's like 11 or 12. My account got banned because somebody just banned me. And then they were literally holding my account like ransom. And I had to pay them like 3 or 4k to get it back and have them multiple times. And it was a nightmare for like two months. Like, there was no money coming in. And it was. I have my. My heart right here, bro. Because I employees all this stuff.
So I was one of the reasons.
Reasons why I wanted to also have two things just in case. And I don't think anybody could take the YouTube. I don't know why Instagram is so easy for somebody just to take their account.
Yeah, that's wild, dude. I remember when that was happening.
That was rough. And then they were doing it for our time as well. So if I were to share a win for my client, they also take their clients and they're like, okay, so now pay me ten grand for yours. And I'm like, it was super.
Just a random person.
Yeah, it was like. It was like people were getting. Now the. Like, the FBI got involved in all of this too. Like, because people were holding, like, celebrities like, Trump Ransom. Like, you saw that. That was. That's wild.
It was him.
People were making like 500k a month on this, Brian, on just blocking people's accounts and just like, oh, so you want it back?
Oh, he was the guy that helped you get the account back, though, and.
Then helps you get. Yeah, gets you back.
No way. So he was the one blocking him and then paying me to get it back. That was his business.
Yeah.
I thought he was just the guy saving the people. That's up. No wonder he went to jail. Didn't he go to jail?
Yeah, there's multiple people. There's like a big thing. There's multiple people.
Oh, my dedicated. You got to be a sleaze bag to do that, dude.
Bro, it was.
Bro, that's dirty.
Because every three or four months you do it again.
And then the cuz he knows you paid once.
Yeah. The doesn't know. They're like, oh, it got down again. He's like, oh, that sucks.
You know, he also, he also think he made it seem like he wasn't the one doing it. So you don't know it's him doing it.
And he's like your main way of making money. So he had literally our business by the. I was so mad this time, bro. I'm like, how can this lead back? Just destroy my company like this? And what they do is they report you for. For impersonating a politician. So they do that 50 times or different accounts and your account gets banned. It's rough.
Wow.
And it's just stupid because you're verified.
Yeah, that's another thing. I'm verified. So annoyed by it.
