You need to have an alter ego in business if you want to succeed. It's kind of like creating a video game character and picking out your hair color, your skin tone, your skills, and your attributes. But in real life, think about it, right? If you had to create your ideal video game character for you in real life, who would you be? Who would you pick? What color hair would you have? How would you dress? How would you see yourself? How would you talk? What would your tonality be when you're speaking to somebody on an everyday basis? My alter ego for me is Don Draper because he was a total in the hit TV show Mad Men. And ultimately, that inspired me to do what I'm doing today, which is help whale clients scale their businesses with paid ads. The way I dress, the way I speak, the way I present myself was all based on his confidence in that TV show, which I aspired to be like, and as a result, created my character in real life around.
