This is a YouTube video titled "Why most agency owners can’t keep clients #shorts" containing a monologue from February 7, 2023, discussing strategies for client retention in agencies, emphasizing the importance of service delivery and client results over mere client acquisition.
Let's face it, most agency owners suck at keeping clients. Here's how. We retain our clients for an average of 12 months minimum. And that's on the low end. So look, it all starts with the positioning of your agency and how you actually go about getting clients. Most agency owners, they're only focused on client acquisition. You hear everybody talking about it online, how to get clients, how to do outreach, how to send cold emails, all these client acquisition strategies. But what they fail to do is focus on the service delivery and the client experience. And that's what we focused on. It's helped us keep clients for 12 months. When you get a client, your sole focus should be on getting that client client results, not getting more clients. Because when you get results for one client, you can use that to create a case study to get more clients from those client results. It's counterintuitive to what most people teach, but that's how you actually build a legitimate agency that brings word of mouth referrals so you never have to worry about reaching out to clients again.
