Look, everybody and their mother wants the secret to scaling a successful agency. But the goat David Ogilvy himself once said it takes about 20 plus years to build a successful agency and most of us try to skip that process. We try to skip steps along the way. We want the quick cash now but the only two things that matter when you're building an agency is the client results and the client relationship. If you get clients results that's great because they'll continue paying you but they won't continue paying you if they don't like working with you. So you have to invest in the relationships with your clients to continue nurturing them so that they like working with you. And that's where most people get this wrong. Again don't skip this process and continue iterating every step of the way. It's going to take time, 20 plus years according to David Ogilvy. So adopt the mentality that you're going to be here for a good time and a long time.
