Catherine Ponder teaches that what you vividly picture in your mind becomes real, citing Genesis 13:14 where God told Abraham he'd receive the land he could see. When you feel cheated or stuck, she says, lift your eyes from disappointment and visualize your success in grand detail to align your mind with the outcome.

The secret power for success which was pointed out to Abraham has been used since ancient times— the picturing power of the mind. Lift up now thine eyes and look from the place where thou art northward and southward, eastward and westward, for all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it. Genesis 13:14. When it seems that someone has grabbed your good or cheated you, when it seems that someone has gotten the best in a situation and you have gotten the worst, or when it seems that success constantly evades you, that is the time for you to look up from the rough circumstances where you are and picture your good in a big way, for all that you see will be given you.
