The Opulence Codes - Live In Luxury And Extravagance

Welcome to the Reality Revolution. Today we activate the opulence codes and we move into a timeline of luxury and extravagance. Your life keeps returning to whatever feels normal to you. That's the whole thing in one sentence. Every person carries a level of living their system has decided is theirs, and that level has almost nothing to do with their ability, their intelligence, or how hard they work. Money arrives and then it leaves. Good fortune shows up and gets spent, or given away, or quietly undone until the level is back where it was. Lottery winners are the famous version of this. The ordinary version is a raise that disappears into a slightly better edition of the same life. Raise the level and everything downstream moves. A level rises by being rehearsed until it feels unremarkable. Most money affirmations aim at relief— bills covered, out from under the debt, enough to breathe and sleep well. Fine things to want. All of them, and they aim at the level you already occupy with slightly less pain in it. Today we aim at the level itself, the home, the space, the freedom, the giving, and the standard of every ordinary day. For some of you, this is going to feel uncomfortable. There's a thing people do, and I have done it plenty, where something good shows up and within 4 seconds you explain it. Oh, I got it on sale. It was a gift. I saved up for 2 years. The pleasure arrives and the apology comes right behind it. And every single time that happens, you're teaching the deeper part of yourself that pleasure requires a defense. Anything that requires a defense gets treated as something to be careful about giving you more of. So every affirmation in here is spoken with the apology taken out. There's also this idea floating around that money and spirit are at opposite ends of the spectrum. The word opulence comes from the Latin, from ops, which meant power and resources and plenty. Ops was also a goddess, Roman, married to Saturn, goddess of the harvest and of stored abundance, and her festival came in late August. When the granaries were full and the year had delivered, her temple was up on the Capitoline Hill. And you know what Rome kept inside that temple? The treasury. The gold of the entire state was housed with the goddess of plenty. A whole civilization looked at abundance, understood what it was, and built a temple around it. What we inherited instead is fairly recent and fairly local, and most of us absorbed it without anybody ever walking us through the reasoning. Everything beautiful in this world was made by somebody's hands. The shoemaker working on a wooden last, the woman at the loom, the cabinetmaker, the glassblower, the winemaker who waited 9 years before anybody tasted it. Those people survive only where there are buyers who insist on the well-made and pay what it actually costs. Cheapness kills craft. Opulence keeps it alive. When you spend properly on something that was made properly, you are funding a skill that took a human being 30 years to learn. That is patronage. Civilizations get built out of it, and there's nothing to apologize for anywhere in the transaction. Say these out loud if you're somewhere that you can. Silent works. Out loud works considerably better. The voice brings the body in, and the body is what carries the conviction. Some of those are short, some are long, and a flow of them are going to give you a reaction, a tightness somewhere, a small internal argument. Those are the good ones. Those are the ones to come back to. Run it again before you sleep. Run it every day for a week and watch what starts to feel normal. To you. Let's begin. I live an opulent life. People who visit my home remember it. I now command a magnificent home into my ownership. I have already received the home I used to imagine. It is done. The house is mine, free and clear, forever. My home is filled with light. I own the place I live and the ground it stands on. Coming home is one of my greatest pleasures. I am proud of every part of my house.
