Hi there, I'm Britne Jenke.
Consider your 4 closest colleagues at work. More than likely, one of these people is living with and working with a disability. For me, accessibility isn't just a set of guidelines, it's personal. I live with multiple disabilities, and like many, I want to work for a living. Inclusive Pixelation didn't start out as an empire, it It started as a side hustle, born from a gap I saw in the corporate world. I spent years in corporate learning and development and human resources, seeing brilliant people sidelined because the tools they were given to work with simply weren't built for them. So we built a resource ecosystem. I started by sharing what I know with others in L&D and HR by speaking at conferences, delivering webinars and workshops, and offering consulting. Then I published my book on making online learning accessible, the first in a series of handbooks on making the workplace accessible. Since then, the momentum has grown. We launched the Accessibility Shop, your place for disability inclusion and accessibility merchandise with our unique inclusive pixelation flair, with proceeds donated directly to accessibility organizations like Equal Access Public Media. We created Accessibility Learn, the home for our webinars and workshops, along with online courses for continuing education credit. We launched a podcast on Making Blank Accessible, highlighting the work others are doing to make their own spaces more inclusive and accessible. Our mission is simple: making work accessible. It's the core of every course we write, every talk we deliver, and every consultation we lead. I'm so excited about our newest addition, our app, Accessibility Spaces. It's essentially a personalized accessibility consultant in your pocket. Whether you're an HR, a business owner, or even a construction professional, you can get instant tailored recommendations based on your unique workplace and the people in it. We're taking the gatekeeping out of consulting and putting the power of inclusion directly into the hands of the people doing the work. Where are we going next? We're continuing to scale until accessible work isn't just a special project. It's the standard. I've gone from a one-woman side business to leading an empire of resources. But the goal remains the same: ensuring every individual has the opportunity to thrive at work. I'm Britne Jenke, and this is Inclusive Pixelation. Together, we're making work accessible.
