Hello everyone, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year. Depends on when you watch this, what season it happens to be, because this is YouTube and the internet, and once this is up here, it is here forever. So, um, it is a live stream right now, but my whole point is to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I just finished my final pistol permit class for the year. And I'm officially on vacation. I have set my out-of-office email, I have set my out-of-office, uh, phone message. So officially, officially, we are closed right now. We'll reopen in 2025, January 2nd to be specific. I have to actually look to see what day we're reopening. I already have students scheduled for January, and I'm looking forward to seeing them. However, that being said, I am looking forward to family time, downtime, rest time. I am going to be wrapping presents like a crazy person over the next couple days. Well, there's only 2 days left until Christmas, so I guess I'm only gonna be doing this for 2 days. That being said, I'm looking forward to it. The kids will be home all nestled in their beds the thoughts of sugar plums dancing in their heads. And I will be sleeping, and my husband will be dashing to the window to see what is the matter. For those of you who have not read A Night Before Christmas, it is a poem, and some of those lines are in there. But it is two nights before Christmas— wait, we're at the pre-Christmas Eve thing, I guess, right? Because Let's see, we have Monday, and then we have Christmas Eve, and then we have Christmas, and today is Sunday. So what does that make that? Um, Christmas Eve, pre-Christmas Eve. This is the pre-pre-Christmas Eve. So I've got 2 days to finish any shopping, wrap presents, figure out what we're eating. Actually, no, I don't have to do any of that. My husband, God bless him, will be the one who does all the cooking, and my mom. And, uh, all I have to do is show up and maybe help clean the house a little bit. Get my teenagers to do the same. So in general, I am just here to let you know I thank you for this year of fun and excitement and getting to meet tons of new people throughout the year, teach new things. 2025 is looking pretty spectacular. I actually have many things— hey, 2 Live Moon, long time no see, sir. Um, nice to see you. Um, what else? So 2025, lots of stuff going on, lots and lots of stuff going on. Somewhere here on the disaster that is currently my office, which in theory I was like, tomorrow I'll take care of that, but I have piles of papers everywhere. But I have an entire schedule for 2025 already. Uh, some free stuff is going to go on. And people like To Live Moo, if you're ever interested in knowing about the lovely laws here in Connecticut, I'm actually going to be offering a free Zoom class. Um, I forget, I'm not looking at the right calendar either. Probably maybe the 22nd or 15th, I don't know. I have to look and see what my other meetings are, but, um, it's going to be a free Zoom class on Connecticut laws that USCCA has put out for us. And each month my goal is to have another free Zoom class for everybody., and I'll do it on different nights of the, the week because no night is ever the perfect night for anyone. Then we have so much stuff going on, and I'm looking because I think I can pull up the calendar that I put together, but I legit have everything, something in every month of 2025, including next year. We will be closing on the 19th so that I don't mess up our holiday plans. However, let me see. I will find this. I will. Hey, Mr. Woods, fun to do pop-ups and get to see you all and chat directly. And where is it? Superpower calendar? Nope, none of those things. All right. Apparently I was mistaken. Oh, well, it helps if I were to go into the correct thing. So, Moo Woods, I am just here saying happy Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, all of those fun things. I'm super excited to say I'm officially closed for the rest of the year, and that makes me super happy because I have been working a lot. I love the idea of customer service. I want to take care of you if you want to be able to get training, whether it's getting your pistol permit done after all of those years of saying you're gonna and then not having time. And so I was shoving people into places in my calendar that, um, I don't normally— my Mondays and Tuesdays are my day off. I've worked the last 2 Mondays and Tuesdays to try to get folks in, and I now know I don't want to do that again next year, so I've marked some of that off. All right, New Year's pistol permit blowout. Gonna try to get a bunch of pistol permit classes done in January. February, um, we're gonna do the +1 movement from NSSF.. And what that is, is that you who are already a shooter bring a non-shooter or someone who's never been in the range before. And we're gonna have events in little Valentines and we get little challenge coins. And that's what's gonna happen in February 2025. March, St. Patty's Day, apparently on March 15th, 1 to 4 PM, I'm gonna do a First Shots, which is for those of you who are curious about guns, wanna come with a friend, we're gonna do a small class called First Shots. Where we will get you started and you'll decide how you want to continue on. April competition season has started. I'm going to try to get folks to come and try mini competitions here at a Great Start Shooting School so you get a taste for it without having that full day commitment of actually going to a competition. Oh yes, sorry, going backwards. In March I already have the Women's Expo here in Bridgeport. Cinco de Mayo, we're gonna do training, uh, Taco Tuesday training in May for Cinco de Mayo. Get it? Taco Training Tuesday. Um, and that's going to be an online thing. So 2025, and that's just the first half of the year. There's stuff for the rest of the year as well. August is National Shooting Sports Month. Gonna get a lot better because there is money to be won in August. With the National Shooting Sports Month because my students already won $500 from last year's. So Merry Christmas, Happy New Year. I am closed. I'm so excited, but I'm super excited about 2025. So any questions you have, anything you think you want to try to see in 2025, by all means let me know down here if you are not here in the live chat. And I think that's it. So MO Woods Thanks for popping in. Thanks for saying hi. And I'm out of here. Merry Christmas. Happy New Year. Uh, I'm done. I'm finished. It's gonna be so exciting. You are welcome, Moo. And by all means, come pop in on a Zoom or something like that. Some of them are going to be for charge and some of them are going to be free. And so my goal is I can train people anywhere in the country for the free ones, or even online. Hello, Crazy Scotsman. Yes, I saw you briefly last night and then my family came in and I disappeared, so So I hope you all had fun at Hillbilly's Christmas party last night. And for those of you who didn't see it, there was parties going on because we have online parties when we do all this live stuff. And I don't know, I think that is everything. It's so exciting. I am like a kid before Christmas because it is before Christmas and I get to go wrap things and play and look at next year's schedule already. All sorts of fun stuff. All right, Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night. Oh wait.
